We chose Mr [redacted] to be a conservator of person and estate for my almost 100-year-old mother It was sold to us as a solution to a family dispute It was the worst decision we ever made He made many promises before we agreed to have him court-appointed, and then, once he had absolute control over her, he shattered them into pieces He prevented us from communicating with her medical professionals, even though we had been the ones overseeing her medical care for several decades This was made all the worse because Mr [redacted] made very little effort to acquaint himself with her medical history or her care preferences He seemed to have the attitude that he knew it all and that we had little to contribute to our loved one's care He implemented restrictions on our visits with her, even though she lived in my home: he set up visiting hours and told us that all of our visits had to be supervised by his caregivers To top it all off, Mr [redacted] pushed end of life medications (including liquid morphine) when my mother was not actually dyingNot to mention, he seemed callous to the fact that she was adamantly expressing that she did not want these medications In order to stop him, we had to spend more than $30,in court, where we achieved only a partial victory Meanwhile, he spent my mother's money defending his fool hearty decisions Yes, that is right, my mother paid for him to fight against us in court "Fiduciary" implies trust, and this is not someone you can trust at all He is a wolf in sheep's clothing

We chose Mr. [redacted] to be a conservator of person and estate for my almost 100-year-old mother. It was sold to us as a solution to a family dispute. It was the worst decision we ever made. He made many promises before we agreed to have him court-appointed, and then, once he had absolute control over her, he shattered them into pieces. He prevented us from communicating with her medical professionals, even though we had been the ones overseeing her medical care for several decades. This was made all the worse because Mr. [redacted] made very little effort to acquaint himself with her medical history or her care preferences. He seemed to have the attitude that he knew it all and that we had little to contribute to our loved one's care. He implemented restrictions on our visits with her, even though she lived in my home: he set up visiting hours and told us that all of our visits had to be supervised by his caregivers. To top it all off, Mr. [redacted] pushed end of life medications (including liquid morphine) when my mother was not actually dying. Not to mention, he seemed callous to the fact that she was adamantly expressing that she did not want these medications. In order to stop him, we had to spend more than $30,000 in court, where we achieved only a partial victory. Meanwhile, he spent my mother's money defending his fool hearty decisions. Yes, that is right, my mother paid for him to fight against us in court. "Fiduciary" implies trust, and this is not someone you can trust at all. He is a wolf in sheep's clothing.
