The plumber simply said he could have a crew come over and it would be expensive.2. Vince DID call me the next day. It's documented on my cell phone.3. I DID get two bills, one within a week, and one two or three weeks later.4. I NEVER received a voicemail from him after the first bill. Also documented on my cell phone.5. I did NOT tell him it took over 2 hours to thaw the pipes. It happened within an hour.6. He did NOT tell me over the phone that he would have adjusted the bill if I had called.7. Lastly, he ABSOLUTELY said "You're playing hard ball with me". This is a blatant lie and I have coworkers who could hear the call and will confirm this. I have no problem paying for services rendered. I am a single woman who has contractors in and out of my home regularly. I have never been involved in a situation like this. I am accepting his resolution, but not happy about it. Just want this whole thing over and done with.

When we arrived on the site we confirmed that the pipes were frozen for the kitchen sink/dishwasher.We went down stairs to check out the situation and determined do to all the insulation our professional heat gun would get to hot to use in that situation.We advised the owner we could take down the...

insulation by getting our apprentice there at a much lesser labor rate than my plumber who is at $134.00 per hour.  The owner opted not to do this.We tried a little bit with our heat gun but after spending over a hour it was not working.  We advise the owner we could stay which would be chargeable our she could let the direct heat into the cabinetarea to see if the pipes would thaw on there own.  The owner opted to have the pipes thaw on there own due to the $134.00 per hour rate.I never call the customer the next day.  I sent my first statement out after approximately 2 weeks and had no response from the customer.  I only sent out 1 bill -  I also left her 1 voice message and still no response.I finally got a hold of her and she said she was just sitting on the bill.  I asked her why she did not call to discuss the situation and she said she was made.She then told me she had a friend come over and use a hair dryer which will not bother the insulation and she had mentioned the friend spent a good 2 hours of time to do this which is not what she wantedmay plumber to do.On the phone I told her if she would have called to discuss the problem I would have adjusted the bill but when she told me she was just sitting on the bill that did not sit well with me but I still maintained mycomposure on the phone.When trying to unthaw frozen pipes if it is a area that is hard to get at or the labor my get to expensive the customer either opts to wait or use the hair dryer method.[redacted] did not want us to spend the time on the site at $134.00 per hourI never told [redacted] she was playing hard ball with me.  I told her it cost me money to send out statements, place phone calls to her to track her down in my busy schedule and she did not have the common senseto make a phone call to me.I will credit her back a half hour of time which is $67.00 plus sales tax of $3.75 =  $70.75Thank you for your time [redacted]
