In response to Mr*** complaint, the vehicle was sold with an In-House powertrain warranty. This warranty only covers internal lubricated parts of the engine, transmission, and drive axel. Mr*** signed this document along the documents declining a service contract and a
Regulation Z form stating he understood all the documents he signed. Every customer has the opportunity to check out our vehicles by their own mechanic upon their request, which Mr*** never requested. In the two weeks that Mr*** claims, this check engine light did not come on until miles was driven on the vehicle. Nowhere, in the agreed upon documents, does it state that this is a covered item. When the customer complained about the check engine light on 9/we did not have a mechanic available to us. We had the vehicle checked out by Premier Auto on 9/6, at no charge tp the cuistomer, as a courtesy.Olympic Motor Co LLC will not provide any additional repairs outside the agreed upon terms of our In-House powertrain warranty

I am rejecting this response because:Lets first start off with the fact that you never addressed the air conditioning issuesThe air will blow for a while and then the blower motor shuts off completely. The fact that I drove miles is irrelevantDue to the fact that I purchased a vehicle to drive. The power steering issue is a saftey hazard due to the fact it could have went out while I was driving. I'm no mechanic but the oil pressure low light that came on and told me to shut the vehicle down now while I was pulling into your parking lotSeems to indicate that has something to do with the drivability of the vehicle and is not "just a noise". I feel as though you are trying to "slap a bandaid" on a bigger issue. After I was told this is a great vehicleIt has never had any issuesEngine runs strongEct ect ect.Obviously this vehicle has issues otherwise you and your mechanics would not be replacing things on the vehicle. I do not trust the fact that you are fixing the problems with this vehicle nor do I trust your company at allI should not have occurred all of them problems in the short days that I had the vehicle. You sold me a vehicle on expectationsWhich turned out to be fraudulent. I do not trust you nor your mechanics. As to my husband he still has is jobI brought the vehicle back after I took it to a shop to have it looked at when it was making noisesHe advised that the engine had some faulty things going on internallyThe power steering rack and pump were going outAlso the air conditioning blower motor and condenser. My frustration is completely vaildI have small children one of which has health issues and I need a reliable vehicle that works properlyI don't think that you are fixing the vehicle properly(That is my opinion) but you haven't gained much trust since you sold me this vehicle.
Sincerely,

Initial Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2015/08/07) */
To address Ms***'s claims, she was sold the BMW "As-Is" with "nothing owed" written on our We Owe formThe timing chain was never an issue prior to the sale of the vehicle nor was it ever brought to our attention after the saleShe
purchased s service contract that clearly states what is and is not covered by the service companyWe have all the documentation to document all that has been stated aboveWe feel that since the vehicle was sold "As Is" over six month ago we are not responsible for any repair costs that Ms*** has incurred and we will not issue a refund eitherIf there is anything else that the Revdex.com may need please let us knowThank you

The customer was presented two different methods to purchase the vehicle. Option was $down with no warranty and the second option was $down with a year extended warranty. He chose opton and signed all of the documentation including the Regulation Z From that has the
customer acknowledge that he understood all the documents he signed. We are confused trying to understand what the problem is. The customer chose to sign the paperwork under his own free will. We are happy to provide any documents upon request. Thank you. *** ***

Mr*** purchased our vehicle on 10/29/2016. We had the vehicle originally priced at $plus $Administration fee for a total of $26189. Mr *** negotiated the total sale price to $25064.50. Since we lowered the price of the vehicle we told Mr*** we would be
selling it As-Is. Mr*** signed the warranty along with a Service Contract Waiver declining to purchase an additional warranty. The customer had the opportunity to inspect the truck himself and never mentioned that he wanted a 3rd party mechanic shop to look at the vehicle either, which we would have facilitated upon request. If there were any additional issues to address (cosmetic or mechanical) with the vehicle the customer has the opportunity to put it on our "We Owe" document which shows nothing owed and he signed it. The vehicle came with a Missouri State safety inspection and an inspection guarantee. The vehicle had an issue with the Oreader which caused the Missouri State Emissions test to fail. Our mechanic fixed the problem and the vehicle was ready to be emission tested again. Based on the discount negotiated by Mr***, the fact the vehicle was sold As-Is, and he declined a service contract we will not address any of the issues he has with the vehicle. After the vehicle had been sold, Mr*** then said an individual who had purchased a vehicle from us in the past referred him. Our "Referral Program Form" states in the second sentence, "To qualify you must call your salesman or manager PRIOR to the customer coming to the lot." Based on our referral program guidelines the Mr***'s referral did not qualify. We have enclosed all supporting documents should you need more please let us know. Thank you

This letter is in regards to a customer complaint #[redacted].  I am going to address Mrs. [redacted]’s issues as they were brought up in her letter:The sale price of the vehicle is $13,990 not the $21,000 that...

she stated.  It is clearly shown on all of the documentation. We have not contacted the customer because she told us that she was going to have her attorney contact us on 8/4/2016.  We have not heard from the attorney as of yet.The vehicle was looked at by our mechanic on 8/4/2017 to assess the customer’s concerns. The customer was never told she would be responsible for the repairs because we had not had time to address her concerns with the vehicle.  Power Steering:  The customer claims that the power steering is going out.  The steering rack and pump have normal seepage which is indicative of a vehicle that has 99k miles.  This is in no way a safety concern but more of a maintenance issue.  We are repairing both parts at no cost to the customer.  Engine: the customer claims the vehicle has a “piece of crap” engine.  After looking at the vehicle it is determined the engine has a slight noise coming from the Timing Chain Tensioner.  This in no way affects the performance of the vehicle despite the noise it makes.  We are replacing this part at no cost to the customer. The customer drove the vehicle at total of 755 miles in 3 days.                When Mrs. [redacted] first contacted our store she first claimed that her husband had lost his job and they did not want the car.  After being told this story she then brought up the issues with the vehicle as the reason why she did not want the Acadia.  Mrs. [redacted] had an opportunity to have the vehicle inspected prior to purchase by a 3rd party mechanic but she chose not to do so.  She was offered an extended warranty at the time of sale which she declined.  She did receive our standard Powertrain Warranty (30 days/1000 miles).                We are not going to refund or “back the deal out.”  We are repairing all of the above mentioned issues at no charge to the customer. We have documentation of everything stated, we will be happy to provide them upon request.   Sincerely, [redacted]
