Excellent service! Came to our house for a carpenter ant problem. The treatment was done quickly and around our schedule. He also helped to insure our pets would not get sick. The ants did come back in three weeks, but he came back and re-treated with no cost to us.

To Whom It May Concern; In December 2014, we were contacted by...

Mrs. [redacted] to verify damage to a townhome that she was purchasing, we were told that another company had done an inspection and the home failed for carpenter ants. At that time we sent a technician to the property. There was no active pest activity. At no time did we suggest that birds pecking at a house indicates carpenter ants nor did we tell her she had an infestation of any kind. She stated she needed pest control services in order to close on the property. We gave an estimate for pest control services that would take care of a variety of pest.On December 8, 2014 we were contacted by Mrs. [redacted] for pest control services. At that time she signed up for an annual service agreement. Once she became the owner to the property we treated the home for rodents and did an inside application for pavement ants. In May we were contacted to do an outside application, which included application to the foundation and eaves. During our visit she insisted we treat the window casings for carpenter ants. There was no existing evidence or damage from carpenter ants and it did not warrant treatment to those areas. She became very upset with the OPC technician and that we sold her an annual agreement when she didn't have any problems. On the contrary, she did have a problem with rodents and pavements ants, and was having preventive services. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact the office.Thank you,OPC Pest Control

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
There are many untruths in the letter that you received from OPC Pest Control. The townhouse I was buying did not fail the inspection. I wanted to investigate the visible damage from birds pecking on the window frame before purchasing.  Even though I told OPC that the damage was on the second floor, they did not bring a ladder. When I insisted, they removed the screen and quickly looked at the damage. The man who stuck his head out of the window was holding something in his hand, which he said was evidence of carpenter ants. He did say that the birds were pecking to get at the ants or their eggs.  So the seller and I purchased the year's contract, which I wanted specifically to treat the carpenter ants in the spring. OPC told me that if I had any problems with pests that they would be covered under the contract. After I moved in, I had a problem with ants around my sink (more than once) and a mouse, which I wasn't aware of when I purchased the contract, so I called OPC because I had the contract So obviously OPC is lying when they say that I signed up for their service because of the ants and mouse..
I still maintain that OPC got me to sign up under false pretenses when they said that I had carpenter ants when I didn't. I still want to pursue the $100 refund.
Regards,

To Whom It May Concern; Please find attached information regarding our annual pest control program. As you can see carpenter ants are a pest that are covered under the agreement. Our exterior application would cover control for the ants. We again feel that there was no need to drill the window casings.Thank you,OPC Pest ControlJim C[redacted]
