Omaha Beef Supplying Frontier Steaks

Review: This company sells frozen steaks out of a refrigerated truck in our local mall parking lots. They have signs that say 20 ribeyes for $25. This is their bate-and-switch tactic to get you to buy larger quantities of meat.The company claims to be from Mississippi (address unknown), but when you make a credit card purchase with them, the name on the receipt is [redacted]. The telephone number on the receipt goes to a voicemail message for Premium Midwest Beef. The salesman states that the steaks come from Colorado, but if you look at the stickers on the boxes, they say they were packaged in Florida. Attempted to cook one of the steaks this evening only to find it was so tough that it could not be chewed and, as far as taste goes, completely inedible. I then went to the internet to find similar complaints about similarly-named outfits across the country.The only reason I bothered to try these too-good-to-be-true steaks was because our local radio stations have been advertising these trucks for months and often do broadcasts from the truck locations.Desired Settlement: I would like a $175 refund for the inedible steaks that I have purchased.
