Our insured provided a statement on 4/25/16. An estimate was received on 4/29/16 of the damage to our insured's vehicle. The theft of vehicle was reported to us on 11/24/15 and assigned to an adjuster. The adjuster contacted Ms. [redacted] on  11/24/15. Ms. [redacted] advised that her vehicle had been taken by her step son without permission. She advised that the step son was involved in a hit and run accident and her...

vehicle was damaged. The adjuster explained that an affidavit of theft was required.The affidavit was received on 12/11 from the insured. The vehicle had been previously determined to be a total loss. The file was transferred to the Total Loss Department. We await return of the total loss paperwork sent to the insured in order to resolve the loss.
