O'Meara Volkswagen of Thornton Reviews (22)

Dear [redacted],Here are the answers to your concerns, I am sorry if my previous response did not answer those. We have a special finance department here at O'meara VW and here is the process of how a transaction goes in those cases. When you fill out a credit application through one of the 3rd party company that we use, you authorize that company as well as us to pull your credit. That credit application is forwarded to our system, and to one of our special finance representative. At that time we look at your credit and pre qualify you for an auto loan. The pre qualification process is just making sure that you have the minimum income required by the different programs and banks and that you have the credit history required to qualify for a loan, I know it is kind of a broad explanation but there are 25+ special finance banks and within those banks there are 5 or 6 program each, sometimes more, so for example we have a bank that will finance you if you have had a good paid auto for at least 12 months, even if you had a reposition after words The representative will then call our customer and set up an appointment. Once you come in the process requires us to, then,  print your credit application and have you sign the hard copy, after you verify we have all the correct information, for our records, and we will go through your credit with you to get details of what happened on each account, to make sure that if and when the bank as any questions, that we are able to answer those for you. We also get an idea of what kind of vehicle you are looking for and what is your budget so we can match your needs to the best available program you qualify for and get you as close to your budget as we can. Also one of your concerns was that when you asked what the interest rate was, you did not get an answer. As I mentioned earlier in this email, there are 25+ special finance banks we use, with 5 to 6 or more programs each. We have a bank that will have a different rate depending on the year of the vehicle, another that will vary depending on how much you are financing and how much your earnest money you have, another that will vary depending on the make, the model and the miles of the vehicle. And so as frustrating as it maybe, it Is virtually impossible to quote a rate until we know what vehicle you want to buy, how much you have as a down payment what term you are financing for..etc...This is our process for special finance customers, as it makes the unpleasant experience of getting financing on a vehicle, a little easier for the customer. In no way shape or form did we try to offend you in anyways and if we did we truly do apologize. It was never our intention.Sincerely,[redacted]

[redacted] did purchase a vehicle from us. And in fact the vehicle was coming from Texas. The customer was aware the entire time that the vehicle was in transit to the dealership in Texas and that we could not arrange to pick It up until the vehicle got there from the manufacture. We had the shipping...

company ready to go and realized it maybe faster to get the vehicle if we sent a driver instead of a truck to pick it up. My new car sales manager was very upfront with [redacted] and at no time was [redacted] not aware of what was going on.We asked him to come in so we could resign papers to re-date so he would not have a payment due before actually getting the car. The dealer trade with the dealership was already done and everything was ready to go. Then [redacted] called and voiced is frustration about having to wait to get the vehicle and decided to not go through with the transaction because of the amount of time it was taking to get the vehicle in Colorado. And again, the entire time [redacted] was aware that the specific vehicle he was looking for, color, model  and year was only available at this one dealership in Texas out of all the dealership in the U.S. Then [redacted] took it upon himself to call the Texas dealership and after talking to one of the managers there , we found out that he was willing to buy the vehicle from them directly and told them he did not mind about the time it would take to get it here. At that time we told [redacted] that we do have a cashable contract, and we did everything we said we would do and more. However at this time, because of all these false accusation, we will pass on [redacted] business and we will gladly refund his down payment and unwind his financing with the bank. [redacted] is more than welcome to call the new car manager directly on his cell , which he has, to give him the visa information so we can take care of this promptly. Sincerely[redacted]
