Omega 1 Construction

Review: A concrete patio was to be installed in the rear yard of [redacted] with the total cost of $5,000.00 (Labor and Materials) Met with the [redacted] who is [redacted] of Omega 1 Construction. To start work, 50% of the total amount agreed upon ($2500.00) was required which I subsequently paid.Complaints: - It was agreed that work was to start when I was home from my place of employment but the laborers arrived before the agreed time and started work when I was not home.- Asked [redacted] to produce receipts for the materials that I paid for. I never saw on receipt.- The laborers poured the concrete without even troweling - so now, the concrete that is installed, is rough end uneven. - When I asked [redacted] to meet me to go over the errors that were made, he does not show up, so I tried contacting him at ###-###-#### repeatedly but only get his voicemail. The same happens when I try Omega 1 Construction's office number: ###-###-####.The website where I found this company is called "Thumbtack" [redacted]in which I have filed a formal complaint.Desired Settlement: - The concrete that was installed by Omega 1 Construction should be completely removed from my back yard and disposed of at the expense of Omega 1 Construction.- Full or at least partial refund of the $2500.00 already paid to Omega 1 Construction.
