Date: Fri, Sep 1, 2017 at 5:31 PMSubject: Re: [redacted] Complaint ([redacted])To: [redacted] <[redacted]@myRevdex.com.org>Good Afternoon [redacted],I hope you are doing good!I was not aware of this complaint until yesterday when I spoke to my Production Manager at the office when she told me it had...

been sent to the wrong email address. On this particular claim with **.& [redacted] we have been trying to settle it going back and forth about the best outcome but as you understand I am not in town all the time due to the fact that I have other states that I need to oversee as well but I have managers that are capable and have authority to settle claims of this magnitude any time.First of all we have been working with them since they one when they changed their mind with their roof color once it was half way done, they decided they wanted to get another color because they didn't like how it looked on their roof, we changed it without charging them any additional amount of money and taking a loss on material, extra labor and other fees associated with that change.During our build we scratched a few section on one elevation of her siding and damaged a fascia (which we have sent a crew out to take care of it). We have gone out a couple times to do pressure wash to try to fix their siding to look the way it was before, but since there siding is not new you could see the difference between new polished siding (where we pressured washed) against old faded siding due to sun. However, we have also given the opportunity to choose a company that will do pressure was that they feel comfortable with and was not done.I assigned a manager to go out to their property to inspect and had agreed that if they give us an estimate we will pay for the elevation that is damaged (that our roofing crew scratched during build)however, on their other contractor estimate they have included items that insurance had not even pay for on their estimate that they believe we should give them just because, we were not able to create a supplement on those items due to the fact that they do not want to work with us anymore, therefore we cannot spend time and money on someone to create supplements and get them approved if we will not be taking care of those trades. They have also mentioned that their project Manager Ky C[redacted] has dissapeared on them and for that is not an excuse but we have a reason, he had been in and out of the hospital for over a month, he has been very ill and had a Kidney Transplant last year and that makes it impossible for him to be available when he is out sick. However, on our last conversation with them on July I offered for my project manager and my sales manager to go over to settle everything and close out the claim but they mentioned they wanted to wait for me to get back in town, as of today I am still out of town and won't be back in Virginia for at least another two weeks, but they have communicated with my project manager and they will have a meeting on their property on 09/06/2017 or any other place of their choice since they have mentioned they don't want people coming in to their house which is understandable. Hopefully by then we will be able to come to an agreement and be able to settle this claim once and for all because since we started working with them until this day we have not received any dollar for payment and we have not forced them to pay for at least the roof that we have been completed with.I am also willing to extend our workmanship warranty to five years versus the three years that we offer to everybody else so that they can be comfortable that our work is quality work and we are not just trying to take their money and walk away with it.I hope this response will satisfy your request in order for us to avoid getting a bad review or any negative points under our Revdex.com account since we do value every customer's feedback and that's what helps us as contractors remain in business.Thank you and have a good day!Gustavo A

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.  The company contacted me and assured me that customer service was their highest priority.  They then followed this up with actions that confirmed the same.  I had the one bad experience with Omega but after this exchange I will continue to use and recommend them.

Dealing with this company was a nightmare. We didn't see or hear from anyone for 3 months after work was started. Now, 4 months after completion, our roof is leaking so badly that a portion of the ceiling is coming down.

Review: I was approached by Omega ContractingThey advised me my roof was faulty and needed replacingThey looked at it and stated ‘Insurance would cover the damages"We then went forward with Omega placing a tarp on the roofWhen [redacted] denied the claim for a new roof my wife and I decided to replace it out of pocketWe attempted to contact Omega to do the work since they had already worked on the roofThey never returned any of our phone callsFour months later [redacted] received a bill for $When I contacted Omega they advised me they didn't call back because they never intended to replace our roof if the insurance company didn't cover itThis was NEVER stated and it seemed like they were just hunting for an easy insurance claim and when that didn't happen they refused to do any other work even after we had stated we would pay all costsThey never called back until it was time for them to get their money.Desired Settlement: I understand the company did work on the roof, they nailed a tarp to the roofBut this was only done after they stated the insurance company would pay for itWhen the insurance company refused the claim this left us holding the $dollar billI am willing to pay for the tarp and labor but the rate of $seems a bit excessiveI would be happy to pay half of this cost, $Please note I have already paid the entire $but I would appreciate a $refund
