Review: [redacted] requested an increase to a 19 year credit card limit and during that time [redacted] received an unsolicited/application submitted ELAN platinum card. An unsolicited call to [redacted] from ELAN discussed a balance transfer at a lower rate. This was in 2011 and [redacted] has been involved in caring for elderly parents, an out of state only daughter serious illness for 5 years, subsequent death of both parents, stepmother and ex-husband and the marriage of our child which financially impacted [redacted] tremendously. [redacted] also completed a contractual position and lost that income and has been subsisting on her disability income and continued paying all accounts on time until recently. This led to the oversight of the balance transfer on the ELAN/Omega card which [redacted] vehemently denied utilizing until Omega admitted the merger/affiliation relationship with Elan. Omega also admitted during a demanded meeting, after numerous calls, different employees up to the unprofessional President/CEO G[redacted], no return calls, one written denial that was proven unsubstantiated, over 10 letters from [redacted], faxes and attempts at email without closure. The meeting was in October/2014, ?'s began 8/2014.[redacted] attempted an equity loan/consolidation loan paying off the ELAN card and a 2000k payment to the Omega card. Unbelievably the Omega balance transfer was left on the card still charging interest, paying the appraiser which [redacted] had complained. [redacted] reached out to Bob R[redacted]/Jamie W[redacted] and no callback has been forthcoming since 4/22/15. Thus the complaint which is piggybacked with the Attorney General, CUNA and the State Human Relations Commission is being considered.Desired Settlement: The removal of the balance transfer balance/interest of $473 with the refund of all fees/costs due to the lack of full disclosure/information. [redacted] was quite satisfied with the Omega tenured credit card and the matter would have been resolved with the requested card limit increase. An apology from G[redacted] who was rude, condescending and unprofessional. The Omega credit card reinstated to the $2500 balance. ELAN was advised in writing that the closed credit card will not affect [redacted].

RE: Complaint ID #[redacted] To Whom It May Concern:Visa - There is no settlement to be made as Ms. [redacted] requested the balance transfer and then made purchases on her card resulting in the interest due. Ms. [redacted] has been receiving statements since 2011 showing each of her transactions and the applicable interest. We have always provided full disclosure and we considered this matter closed.Home Equity Appraisal - There is no settlement to be made in this case as Ms. [redacted] requested the appraisal, knowing she had to pay for it, and when she was unhappy with the amount of the appraisal wanted OMEGA to pay for it. Further, she requested only $2,000 be put on her Visa leaving the current balance due, which in turn has interest charges as an outstanding balance, Ms. [redacted] was informed of this on April 6th 2015.My staff has spoken with Ms, [redacted] several times, I spoke with Ms. [redacted] in October 2014, and our VP of Loans Bob R[redacted] met with her personally on October 20th 2014, and talked to her on the phone again in April 2015 to cover this same information. Ms. [redacted] requested the balance transfer, appraisal, and made the charges on the Visa therefore there is no settlement and/or adjustments to be made. Every single time a loan application is made at the credit union by Ms. [redacted] there is a resulting complaint and request for settlement or the waiving of interest and/or fees.
