In responding to the tile laid incorrectly, we sent out a tile professional to inspect the cracked and loose tiles at the
propertyIt is confirmed that there is backer board (cement board) underneath the tileThere were cracked tiles and popped up tile, one of the tiles was cracked because the tenant dropped something on the floor
The tile work was done correctlyWhen we remodeled the property, we had to open the wood floor from the kitchen to the laundry room to get access to work on the support of foundationSo the wood floor could not be savedAfter the wood floor was removed, we did install the cement board to lay tiles
We spoke with the tile professional and he stated that this is such an old houseThere are other factors such as foundation, movement of the house after we did reinforce the foundation which could cause the tile to break loose/crackAnd there were some earthquakes in OKC lately which might affect the propertyDuring the home inspection, the inspector chosen by the buyer did say that the house will need maintenance because of the age of the property
We tried our very best to help Mr*** with previous issuesAnd on this one, we did bring similar tiles for replacementIt is an old duplex and we did the best we could to restore itWe didn't split the duplex
