I am rejecting this response because:I am rejecting this response because: America's Tire provided me a copy of the documented tire depth they took at the time I brought my SUV to themThey documented that they were at 6/32nds which according to standards is still in the "green" - meaning they do NOT require replacement( see chart and document attached) They also confirmed on 1/that the tires were indeed in good condition and I was advised that they had to involved upper management to instruct Thompson's to stop calling/harassing their store in regards to my vehicles tire replacement(attached is a photo of the damaged tire tread measuring at 6-7/32nds on 1/23.) Revdex.com Again we do not believe after speaking with the technician that replaced the tire that this had anything to do with Thompsons No one said we were punishing here (other than the Mrs [redacted] ) We again do not even have the brand of tool in our shop that she states we left in her tireAt this time we wish to be finished with this and will no longer respond to further comments from the customer

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me

I am responding to [redacted] complaint.I would like to start by stating [redacted] did in fact come to Thompsons and have her tire repaired, this was done by patching the leak [redacted] was also advised that two of her tires we at 4/and needed to be replaced and that the other two would need to be replaced soon [redacted] declined to have this work done.Next I would like to address the issues that took place the day [redacted] notified me that she had a tire issue 1st [redacted] stated that our technician did not put the tire on correctly and that is why she had a flat while driving MPH? Upon review on our end and calling the technician that replaced her tires at American Tire we discovered that the tire had not been put on incorrectly Instead the technician stated a pair of needle noosed pliers had punctured the tire from the out side in He also sent pictures of the pliers and the tire to show us what he was talking aboutWe then received another call from [redacted] stating that we left the pliers in her tire and that she was stopped at a stop sign Two conflicting stories!!!At this time I sent her and email letting her know that her story had changed I also explained the technician from American Tire had stated the pliers punctured the tire from the out side in I then let her know that the pliers would have made a loud noise and created a vibration in the vehicle In other words she would have noticed something very wrong with her vehicle from the moment she picked it up [redacted] never called the dealership to complain about any thing like this I then explained that the pliers in question are not even pliers we carry in our shop as the brand does not match the tools that we supply for our lube technicians I also explained their would be scarring inside the tire and that any sensors inside the tire would have been destroyed To my understanding their was no scaring and the TPMS sensor was intact. However from her complaint to the Revdex.com she now states that there did have scaring and she did notice a loud noise????? This is contradictory to the technicians statements from American Tire.It is obvious that from the social media complaints and now the Revdex.com complaint that [redacted] is trying to use these tools to get the dealership to admit we did something wrong when our (And the Technician from American Tire) investigation shows otherwise [redacted] ***General Manager

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to my concern, and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.

I am rejecting this response because: The dealership never advised me that my tires were low on tread life. I asked the service adviser at the time I dropped the vehicle off at Thompsons to fix the nail in the tire to advise me if the tire needed to be replaced. The service adviser advised me at pick up that the tire was perfectly fine. Furthermore, the tires were 60,000 tires with only 30,000 miles on them - its not at all possible that the tires were needing to be replaced. (see attached photo from the manufacturer Solus KH16 Kuhmo brand tires)As I stated via email to [redacted] I was advised by the person who changed my tire that the tire had detached from the rim (which is still true since the pliers caused the air to leave the tire so quickly, that the tire did separate from the rim). The next morning after the situation occurred, I did advise the dealership that the tire detached. Once I talked with America's Tire that afternoon they advised me that pliers were found in the tire. At that time I immediately contacted Thompsons about the incomplete information I was given by the emergency services and advised Thompsons about the pliers. Skip ahead a few days and the service manager at Thompsons ([redacted]) emailed me that Thompsons agreed to pay for the replacement tire with approval from the General Manager [redacted].(See attached) After Thompson's agreed via email to pay for the damaged tire replacement; in retaliation for posting this compliant against Thompsons via Revdex.com and a photo/situation warning consumers of my experience with Thompsons on a social media page, Thompsons then via email contacted me to renege responsibility and refused to follow through on paying for the damaged tire replacement that they had agreed to via email. I have also attached a sample photo of the damage inside the tire from the pliers bouncing around in my tire for some time. I have nothing to hide and am happy to provide whatever documentation needed. Thank you for your time.

Mr. [redacted]I want to first apologize for the inconvienence we have caused you.  If we are unable to secure a product that will be suitable for you we will most certainly refund the $300.00.Please feel free to call me so I can further assist you.The best and most effective way to reach me...

I am rejecting this response because:I am rejecting this response because: America's Tire provided me a copy of the documented tire depth they took at the time I brought my SUV to them. They documented that they were at 6/32nds which according to standards is still in the "green" - meaning they do NOT require replacement. ( see chart and document attached) They also confirmed on 1/23 that the tires were indeed in good condition and I was advised that they had to involved upper management to instruct Thompson's to stop calling/harassing their store in regards to my vehicles tire replacement. (attached is a photo of the damaged tire tread measuring at 6-7/32nds on 1/23.) This in addition to AT documentation attached shows that Thompson's is lying about my vehicles original tires tread. The timeline that [redacted] is stating for the offer to pay for the damaged tire is incorrect. Thompson's was notified on the morning of Jan 5th before America's Tire looked at the tire. Early afternoon Jan 5th I was provided complete information from AT and I notified Thompson's. [redacted] then called AT and mislead the tech into thinking he wanted to warranty my vehicles tires with false information.  The next day [redacted] called my cell and I emailed him back.On Jan 6th @ 3:51pm [redacted] agreed to pay for the replacement of the new tire. Well after he had tricked Thompson's into providing inaccurate information. On Jan 6th @ 4:09pm I asked [redacted] what documents he needed. On Jan 6th @ 4:51pm [redacted] advised that he only needed the AT receipts. (See email attached) I provided that document on Jan 9th @1:24pm. My Social media post was made on Jan 5th @ 7:33pm. Far before [redacted] had offered to pay for the tire. Using the reasoning that they needed to review the pictures and damage is a lie. They already had all the documentation well prior to Thompson's taking responsibility for the damage and offering to pay for the tire. Please understand that no where in my social media post does it say anything but "Please consider not using Thompson's Dodge for your vehicles needs. This is my personal experience". I never stated that I was asking for anything other than other consumers to be cautious. So I am perplexed by the comment of "punishment". As a consumer, I am allowed to review my negative experience to other consumers without retaliation from the business.

Revdex.com Again we do not believe after speaking with the technician that replaced the tire that this had anything to do with Thompsons.  No one said we were punishing here (other than the Mrs. [redacted]).  We again do not even have the brand of tool in our shop that she states we left in her tire. At this time we wish to be finished with this and will no longer respond to further comments from the customer.

Hi,I just called,  in reference to this case.   This deal was funded by [redacted] on Dec 22, 2017.   At the time of funding they short paid us the 2 payments Mr. [redacted]o is referring to.  I received this email today from [redacted] at [redacted]...

[redacted]. Hi [redacted]! I looked over our records and confirmed that the contract for [redacted] (VIN ending in [redacted]2), was funded on December 22nd, 2017. Per the signed contract, the first payment of $1474.68 was due on November 13th.  At the time of funding on December 22nd, we withheld from your proceeds, the November 13th and December 13th payments, for a total of $2949.36.  We will never fund a contract with a payment owing, that would cause the customer to immediately be delinquent. Based on this information, the customer should currently be due for January 13th. Below is a screenshot of the shortfund, as well as a portion of his contract containing payment information. If you have any questions or need any additional information, feel free to give me a call.  One of the delays on the funding was – we needed a corporate resolution signed by him on [redacted] form,  when he signed it we sent that in for funding. I spoke with [redacted] today, and he said at this time everything is good and this case was closed. Please let me know if you need anything else from me. Thanks[redacted]

I am responding to [redacted] complaint.I would like to start by stating [redacted] did in fact come to Thompsons and have her tire repaired, this was done by patching the leak.  [redacted] was also advised that two of her tires we at 4/32 and needed to be replaced and that the other two would...

need to be replaced soon.  [redacted] declined to have this work done.Next I would like to address the issues that took place the day [redacted] notified me that she had a tire issue.  1st [redacted] stated that our technician did not put the tire on correctly and that is why she had a flat while driving 50 MPH?  Upon review on our end and calling the technician that replaced her tires at American Tire we discovered that the tire had not been put on incorrectly.  Instead the technician stated a pair of needle noosed pliers had punctured the tire from the out side in.  He also sent pictures of the pliers and the tire to show us what he was talking about. We then received another call from  [redacted] stating that we left the pliers in her tire and that she was stopped at a stop sign.  Two conflicting stories!!!At this time I sent her and email letting her know that her story had changed I also explained the technician from American Tire had stated the pliers punctured the tire from the out side in.  I then let her know that the pliers would have made a loud noise and created a vibration in the vehicle.  In other words she would have noticed something very wrong with her vehicle from the moment she picked it up.   [redacted] never called the dealership to complain about any thing like this.  I then explained that the pliers in question are not even pliers we carry in our shop as the brand does not match the tools that we supply for our lube technicians.  I also explained their would be scarring inside the tire and that any sensors inside the tire would have been destroyed.  To my understanding their was no scaring and the TPMS sensor was intact. However from her complaint to the Revdex.com she now states that there did have scaring and she did notice a loud noise?????  This is contradictory to the technicians statements from American Tire.It is obvious that from the social media complaints and now the Revdex.com complaint that [redacted] is trying to use these tools to get the dealership to admit we did something wrong when our (And the Technician from American Tire) investigation shows otherwise. [redacted] [redacted]General Manager

Again we did complete an MPI and gave a copy to the customer.  Standard operating procedure!  On this MPI it stated two tires were a 6/32 and two tires were at 4/32 this would suggest that the customer would need new tires soon.Next the photos of the damage show that the tire puncture came from the outside in.  When the customer originally stated we were at fault I had advised the Service Manager to let her know we would take care of the tire once we see everything to determine the damage.  After reviewing everything and discussing this with the technician and after reviewing the photos that were just provide it is clear that this was not our fault. This is not punishment however we can not allow someone to use social media to try and force us to do something when we are not at fault.
