I am rejecting this response because: This is poor workmanship on the part of Armadillo homeA similar complaint was filed by another customer of Armadillo with the exact problemsPlease advise all customer that Armadillo home are constructed poorly and they will not fix the problems do to their poor craftsmanship

Mr***, I have reviewed your complaintThere has never been any plan for the community to be a gated community. Any contracts to purchase the home and or documents such as the CCR's for the community HOA do not state anything about gates being installedWe, Armadillo Homes are no longer in
control or have any decision making capabilities as it relates to the day to day operation of the Waters Edge HOA and the community If you and or the residents desire to have the community gated that has to be done through the Waters Edge HOA board of directorsI would recommend visiting with them Thank you,

Mrs*** Armadillo Homes responded to a warranty service request on 10/12/2015. The request was from the current owner of *** *** ***, *** ***Our records indicate that *** *** is not the original owner of the property. The Original owner was *** and ***
***, and their closing date was 12/30/Armadillo Homes dispatched a representative to review the claim on 10/15/2015, and the following was determined. The home has experienced minor settling, and there were no major structural concernsPhotos were taken and reviewed with the current owner *** *** and he was not satisfied with our findings. Armadillo Homes, in good faith, hired a third party structural engineer to review the claim on January 2nd The findings from the engineering firm, MLAW Engineers are as follows(inserted copy of report at bottom) Armadillo Homes provided a full copy of the engineering report to *** ***, and advised that the recommendations from the engineering firm are buyer maintenance items, and should be expected on a year old home. The property at *** *** *** has surpassed its 10-year structural warranty period. We would be happy to provide you a copy of the report should you deem it necessaryWhile our goal is to assure our owners are 100% satisfied, we believe we have gone above and beyond in regards to this claim

I can appreciate your frustration with the lack of "action" on our part. I am in the process of researching the work history we have on file. Mrs. [redacted] Armadillo Homes provides a 1-2-10 year warranty on all of the homes we build. Year one warrants cosmetic items and or concerns on the home. Year 1-2 warrants any manufacturer issues the home may have. Year 1-10 carries a structural warranty. Due to the age of the home, the warranties have expired. In good faith, and to assure all parties involved that the structural integrity of the home is solid.  Armadillo Homes did hire and provide a structural engineering report for the owners.   The report assures the owners there are no structural concerns, and only minor cosmetic items were noted.    Armadillo Homes will take no action on this claim, as the items are cosmetic in nature. I am rejecting this response because: I said nothing about the foundation I stated that the nails were popping out of the structure and because of that cracks are appearing on every wall in the home.  My mother's home was  built in the 1960's and there are no nails popping out. Also the report by a previous customer who home was 2 years old experience the same issues (nails popping out). This seems to be a common problems with Armadillo homes. That is true I am not the original owner but Armadillo should still fix the problem do to poor craftsmanship.
