I see that Omnitech actually has the nerve to make response comments on here you know they had somebody else write that because they're not capable of sounding professional they're ignorant and just complete is they didn't scam me they're not smart enough but they scammed a friend of mine because she trusts people but what they really need to mention in their comments is that microsoft sued the s [redacted] out of them they're scam artists they're trying to scam you right here right now with that comment so you think that they're legit that's not going to help their name is garbage they have 100% horrible ratings look at that right there Also I'm from Los Angeles I also work on Wilshire Boulevard so one day I decide to stop by their office well guess what all I saw was telemarketers in very depressing room I don't know what they're doing all their money it sure ain't buying clothes because they look unprofessional like they were doing cocaine all night and just rolled out of bed still wearing the clothes from the night before and just went to work like I mean with all the money they're making what are they doing with it I mean the furniture was like those fold-out chairs they used to use in church when it got too crowded everything in that place including the people was just lousy and utterly derelict !

Omni Tech support scrambled my computer so completely that I had to pay a local business to put it right I terminated service and got a refundI told them emphatically to leave me alone but the persist in calling and e-mailikng trying to ge me to restore their service From what I have experienced, I do not believe they provide the serivce they claim, The actions they take are deleterous and their persistent contacts are a continuing source of lost time and irritation

Having read several of the complaints against Omni, I noticed the defense given by Omni over, and over and over again (it was given to me at least times during my 1/hour "chat" with them, as I was trying to set up services with them (and had already paid their fee The excuse is: "unstable Internet connection" or "fluid Internet Connection"This is what they tell you when they continuously disconnect from you during a chat sessionI have worked with many Internet companies over the years, and never heard of this issueOver my 1/hour chat session with Omni, I was disconnected at least a dozen timesThis means that you have to go back and start all over again, trying to get a connection with support, and never getting the same tech twiceThis problem is not with the consumer's Internet connection, it is clearly with OmniI think that they do it on purpose, to tire you out so that you'll just go ahead and sign on for $to $for one year of their "services" During my session, every time I asked a reasonable question about how their services would work in conjunction with my own programs, they would respond with "Ms***, please just sign the contract"I would continue with my questions, and I'd get "Ms [redacted] JUST TRUST ME, you'll love the service, now JUST SIGN the contract" (which would have allowed them to pull money directly out of my bank account)With a couple of exceptions, they never, in 1/hours, answered a direct questionThey simply ignored them When I finally said to one tech, "How can I trust someone named "TECH-409" (number maas an example)? I don't know you or your real name, I've never heard of your company, and I don't know what you're doing to my computer (I had been transferred to Omni automatically, by HP's help website, because HP doesn't want to deal with any out-of-warrantee consumers) Suddenly, our Internet connection "became fluid" or "unstable", and TECH-was gone The night drew on as more and more new TECHs got involvedOmni disclosed to me, that the first two techs they connect me to, (as they do with all new customers) were actually just sales people, who know nothing about computersIf you persist, without being bullied into signing with them, THEN they will connect you to a "Senior Tech" who may know what he/she is doing It is my strong opinion that they use this "Poor Internet Connection/fluid Internet connection" excuse, as a way to wear you down, tire you out, and get your moneyI am convinced of this P.SThe "manager" that night, called me back at 12:a.mafter this marathon session was over, and told me he was giving me 6-months of free service from Omni, and that he would immediately send me an email confirming this I never got the email, and Omni can't find verification in their system, that the call ever took place

When I called, I tried to call Microsoft and got OmnitechThery helped me with a problem, but tried and succeeded in selling me a year service agreementI was very disappointed that I did not get Microsoft as I had no warning that I would get these folksThey solved my problem, but now that one year is up, they have been calling incessantly and are very rude and high pressureI can not tell you HOW DISSAPPOINTED I AM WITH THEM AND THAT MICROSOFT HAS CHARGED THEM WITH THEIR SERVICE FOR CUSTOMERSIF ANYONE READS THIS< I AM NOT SATISFIED AND WANT THEM OUT OF MY LIFE (NO OPTION FOR THAT) I RATE THEM as a "for service and as a ZERO for their personal skills and a minus for their pressure!!!!

My late partner got hooked up with omnitech He passed away in May and since then I have unplugged his computer I have had at least calls from them telling me that there is supicious activity on his computer It doesn't matter that I have told them not to call any more and was even told that it would cost me $to stop them from calling me I tell them that he has passed away and they become slightly beligerent at that point telling me I need to get his puter fixed How does an unplugged computer have suspicious activity?

On 12/29/2014, I contacted Omniteck seeking to acquire a support system that would potect me from anti viruses-malwafre, rtcAfter many hours of reviewing my concerns, an agent told me that for $for one year , theywould install softwear in my computer that would provide me with the protection we agreed I needed
They did instll Smart Care, etc, and I used it until the other day when I attremted to clean up my PC and was told I had their was an error- that the program could not start because of the following:"ASO Helper.dll is missing from your computerI attempted to contact Omniteck and was told hat my contract was for one month and that I could renew it for $Finally, thre cpmpany needs to hire someone who speals American englis

I had a very bad experience with Tech Support each time they call to check my computer they ALWAYS found a virus and it ALWAYS cost more money to remove it
I will not accept any calls from the company and instead will use Tech Support from Dell

I entered into a contract with Omni Tech Support for $250.00 for a 3 year contract. About every 3 or 4 months they call to say either they are calling to "tune up" my pc or that someone has hacked into my pc and then there is ALWAYS and additional charge to delete the files and repair it. After the second costly repair I ask the tech to please tell me how to cancelled my contact and to remove my name from there calling list. He informed me to take off all my cloths and that would cancel the contract. As a professional company I think the tech should be fired for talking to a customer in that manner.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND OMINTECHSUPPORT TO ANYONEBECAUSE EACH TIME THEY CALL IT WILL BE AN ADDITIONAL CHARGE.

Having read several of the complaints against Omni, I noticed the defense given by Omni over, and over and over again (it was given to me at least 12 times during my 6 1/2 hour "chat" with them, as I was trying to set up services with them (and had already paid their fee.

The excuse is: "unstable Internet connection" or "fluid Internet Connection". This is what they tell you when they continuously disconnect from you during a chat session. I have worked with many Internet companies over the years, and never heard of this issue. Over my 6 1/2 hour chat session with Omni, I was disconnected at least a dozen times. This means that you have to go back and start all over again, trying to get a connection with support, and never getting the same tech twice. This problem is not with the consumer's Internet connection, it is clearly with Omni. I think that they do it on purpose, to tire you out so that you'll just go ahead and sign on for $149.99 to $249.99 for one year of their "services".

During my session, every time I asked a reasonable question about how their services would work in conjunction with my own programs, they would respond with "Ms. [redacted], please just sign the contract". I would continue with my questions, and I'd get "Ms. [redacted] JUST TRUST ME, you'll love the service, now JUST SIGN the contract" (which would have allowed them to pull money directly out of my bank account). With a couple of exceptions, they never, in 6 1/2 hours, answered a direct question. They simply ignored them.

When I finally said to one tech, "How can I trust someone named "TECH-409" (number made-up as an example)? I don't know you or your real name, I've never heard of your company, and I don't know what you're doing to my computer (I had been transferred to Omni automatically, by HP's help website, because HP doesn't want to deal with any out-of-warrantee consumers).

Suddenly, our Internet connection "became fluid" or "unstable", and TECH-409 was gone.

The night drew on as more and more new TECHs got involved. Omni disclosed to me, that the first two techs they connect me to, (as they do with all new customers) were actually just sales people, who know nothing about computers. If you persist, without being bullied into signing with them, THEN they will connect you to a "Senior Tech" who may know what he/she is doing.

It is my strong opinion that they use this "Poor Internet Connection/fluid Internet connection" excuse, as a way to wear you down, tire you out, and get your money. I am convinced of this.

P.S. The "manager" that night, called me back at 12:35 a.m. after this marathon session was over, and told me he was giving me 6-months of free service from Omni, and that he would immediately send me an email confirming this.

I never got the email, and Omni can't find verification in their system, that the call ever took place.

I see that Omnitech actually has the nerve to make response comments on here you know they had somebody else write that because they're not capable of sounding professional they're ignorant and just complete is they didn't scam me they're not smart enough but they scammed a friend of mine because she trusts people but what they really need to mention in their comments is that microsoft sued the s[redacted] out of them they're scam artists they're trying to scam you right here right now with that comment so you think that they're legit that's not going to help their name is garbage they have 100% horrible ratings look at that right there. Also I'm from Los Angeles I also work on Wilshire Boulevard so one day I decide to stop by their office well guess what all I saw was telemarketers in very depressing room I don't know what they're doing all their money it sure ain't buying clothes because they look unprofessional like they were doing cocaine all night and just rolled out of bed still wearing the clothes from the night before and just went to work like I mean with all the money they're making what are they doing with it I mean the furniture was like those fold-out chairs they used to use in church when it got too crowded everything in that place including the people was just lousy and utterly derelict !

Firstly, I must say I am not completely computer illiterate. Omnitech uses an old boiler room mentality. they plant the hook and then root around to appear that issues are dealt with., some are circumvented and others are set up so you will come back for future" dipping at the well" Each time you use their services you get clipped. The customer service link is entered into your startup menu under a different name which makes it hard to find and get rid of. After a couple of hundred bucks I fixed it myself by getting new drivers for my video card and reloading. Unfortunately, I can not give them anything other than a bad rating that is simply out for the money.
