From: Date: Thu, Mar 26, at 10:AMSubject: Re: You have a new message from the Revdex.com of Metro Washington DC & Eastern Pennsylvania in regards to your complaint #***.To: [email protected] ***,We were never informed as the job was going on of extra costwe told On Call Contractors John O** that we only a set amount for this job and no more and we never received a itemized quote after asking for it numerous time so we have no idea what we were going to done under the contractand by our records MrO** was paid in full. Now the work that was done to the house is substandered and siding is falling off me house this is not except-ablenow what can I do ?Thanks*** ***

***,
While I was not here when this job was being ?completed I have looked thru the file and I have
talked with John from On Call and with the *** Office that originally referred this job to On Call because of issues with a previous contractor. From all of the correspondence in the file it looks as if On Call did quite a lot of work for these people with out charging them and then when it came time to pay for extras that became necessary, after the contract was signed and work was started, because of unforeseen issues behind what was visible and because of the previous contractors work, the people refused to pay. These people have never made the final payment for the work that was completed and On Call will only hold a warranty if payments are made in full when due.
Thanks ***

*** ***, I cannot understand how you can say you did not know of the extras, when most of them were changes that you made. For instance the custom front door you requested we install and the built in shower cubby you also requested. You were sent change orders for these along with the rotted wood on the roof that had to be replaced. These were sent to you on April 8, 2014. You choose tile that was above your budget, you choose a split hvac sytem, (again not in the budget) your wife had the guys move walls four times because she couldn't make up her mind. All of which you were aware of, all of which cost additional money. There were issues with the plumbing when the floor was opening up, there were issues with the framing from the previous contractor all of which you were informed about. You received an itemized quote on December 4th, via email. It reduced the cost of the job from the original $108,to $95,by reducing the amount of money to be spent on each item. Instead, of staying in the budget you went out and chose items above your budget in most cases. On March 13th2014 at 12:you also received a breakdown of the charges showing the total due with the extras was $101,550.00, of which you have only paid $80,900.00 While I was not here during all of this, I have a file over and inch and one half think full of emails to and from, change orders submitted to you and payments made. You ran out of money because of the choices you made and you expected us to continue making the changes you wanted for free, when you had not even paid for the work that was done. Again I am sorry the siding is falling off your house (one piece from what I saw) but we are not doing anymore work for you for free

Review: The work performed did not conform to our agreement.

The work performed was of very poor quality.

The workers were very destructive to personal property

The workers were not qualified to perform the tasks.

No provisions were made to mitigate lead contamination.

The work was not completed.

Most of the work that was completed needs to be repaired/reworked.Desired Settlement: Compensation for all repairs that need to be done and all work that needs completion.

August 13, 2014Dear [redacted],In Regards the above matter concerning [redacted], On Call Contracting has tried to reach to Revdex.com via telephone multiple times since July 3rd, 2014. did send a letter on the 3rd as well along with the attached information concerning this matter. The previous letter stated the following:o The person receiving mail over the past 6 months did not bring this matter to the owner of On Call Contracting's attention; that is the reason that there has been prior response. The employee left the company prior to the last letter that we received stating dismissal from The Revdex.com. * The above matter was dismissed from court as there was no proof of any of her complaints, * The above complaint was not resolved as [redacted] did not respond or make any arrangements for payment. [redacted] had other contractors work on the job site and they caused the damage that she describes in her complaint. * On Call Contracting would like you to remove the above matter as we have had no other issues in the past and [redacted] has made no other attempts to contact us. Also, the courts decided that this matter was closed. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me at ###-###-####.Kindly,Lynn WOffice Manager
