Estimate for repair was parts and labor not just partsI have two identical water heatersI had the first heater repaired by Noah for about $about 18-months agoThe burnerassembly was replaced and that heater has been functioning normallyTherepair for the second water heater was also suppose to be a burner assembly replacement and the estimatefor repair at $for parts and labor plus tax seemed reasonableHad I known thatthe repair would be double that amount and not be completed by Noah in a reasonabletime frame I would not have agreed to have Noah perform the repair.I wouldand Noah would not be able to complete the repair in a reasonable time frame I would not have agreed to have Noah perform the work.have Noah proceed with the work. proceed with the work. second water heater was excessivefunctioning normally.

over years old and parts where costing around $and would good investment to spend extra money on new heater since existing heaters only had a year warranty He said he was not ready to change out his heaters and Vidal agreed to order partsTotal cost of parts from ** *** were $Vidal told him parts were $and did not include laborAfter parts came in we scheduled for install b/c customer was aware of the cost of materialwe installed the parts and when we included the labor the bill came out to $We did not charge the full hours of laborOUr hourly rate on repair is $Mr*** called a few weeks later and our on call technician went out after hours to check heater since we did work on itArthur went out and turned water heater back onUnit turned off a week later we believeSo Vidal went back out to remove burner assembly and clean out inside of unit with vac like Mr*** advised and as Vidal was going to do after talking to ** *** before going to customers houseSome debris inside that was cleanedTurned on water heater and turned on and off control valve to make sure pilot would stay onEverything checked out okay so Vidal told Mr*** have a nice day and problem should be solvedKeep in mind we did not charge for the labor againCalled back a few weeks later and still having same problemTold him cannot keep going out there for free but will go and check AFter we have told him from the beginning he needed a new heater but customer did not want to do thatWe then took burner assembly from other heater to see if it would work; then left it on and found out burner assembly was faultyWe went through the steps as recommended by ** ***This is NOT OUR FAULT that ** *** sent faulty burner assemblyThis is a manufacturer issueAS much as I would like to help everyone for free we just cannot do that as a company** *** would not cover labor for a faulty part they sentI am sorry we have to discuss issues like this but we did everything to make Mr*** happyWe have done plenty of work for him in the past with no issuesOnce he realized we cannot go out there for free any longer that is when the complaints startedthank youVidal *** the plumber on the job is a master plumber MPL ***Thank you
