I advised the consumer that we left the paper work with him when we finished the job and it was up to him to send in the rebate information. There is nothing I can do about this.

have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
 He never left any paperwork, he did not have the rebate forms with him and said he would come back with them help me fill them out and he would mail them into get my rebate. Also when I contacted Him from a phone  he didn't know the number of, after dodging me for 2 1/2 months, he said he would send his sales person over within an hour to get it taken care of. No one showed. That is why we were at the point where at now. If the $700 rebate only went through the end of the year and is not valid now he should have to pay me the $700 for dropping the ball on the whole situation. The only reason I purchased from him Is because of the rebate.
