[redacted] did not bother to mention in his letter:One of [redacted]'s roommates overdosed shortly after their move-in - this does not help logistics with resolving any bona fide work orders.With respect to our “utterly despicable' service, i.e., with respect to "poor service when trying to pay rent, most of our residents pay via U.S. Mail. There is even a five day grace period for paying rent. Out of courtesy, however, we allow some people to pay in person. When we made such accommodations with [redacted], he did not have a telephone and told us a time he would be there-we went down to meet him at the scheduled time, and he was not there. It is an egregious mischaracterization to portray that as 'poor service.With respect to delays in work order completion, which seems to represent the core of the complaint, we have struggled several times to gain access. Our access in one instance was affected by a dog. In another instance, they did not answer. In another, contractor said they were home but did not provide access and ignored his knocking.All of that said, we want people to be happy in our apartments, and we did spend the time to reach out to [redacted] today and do intend to try to clear up any bona fide issues he might have.
