In the event that any of On the Road Trucks installation has an issue we are willing to incur costs on our portion of what is proven to be our fault

I am rejecting this response because:If the issue of my vehicle is determined to be linked to the horn or the replacement of the ECM or other parts done by On The Road Trucks and or by other shops On The Road Trucks sent my truck toI would like written documentation that On The Road Trucks will Handle all the fees in relation to my trucks repairs as well as any other fees accumulated during the process of me finding out what the issue is if it is determined that they caused the problem, because On The Road Trucks has failed to find the SPECIFIC issue that is linked to my vehicle and because of that I am now having to handle the issue on my own time, money, and effort

I am rejecting this response because:  On the Road Trucks lies about everything.  See other reviews at [redacted]  This company has a lot of answers, unfortunately all the wrong answers.

I am rejecting this response because:All these damages occurred at the On the Road Truck premises, his service agnates [redacted]. was vary much aware of the incident and to a point worked on my car  and the tint guy Nick were responsible for the damages incurred to my vehicle and to top property (radar cabling)  bought and paid for was taken out of my car. HE even said he was giving back but did not! Recorded on text. I even try to contact this [redacted] (owner) to try and see if his insurance would cover the damages but he refuses to talk and left me on hold and had me call numerous times and still kept me on hold (very Rude!) I do not accept these answers and still find that all Damages be Paid for! I have text conversations with the employee and part owner [redacted]. of  concrete evidence of their wrong doing! This are all correct to the best of my knowledge and if called to testify I will in penalty of perjury. Sincere;y,[redacted]

I am rejecting this response because:  The invoice from [redacted] clearly states that "the customer" [redacted] was notified the noisy was not coming from the differential.  The invoice also states there was shaving in the bearings and the parts showed "light wear."  This is sufficient evidence to show the wear and shavings was not the source of the noise and the differential should not have been rebuilt.  The original service request was to diagnose the noise in the front.  On the Road Trucks did not ask me to go to a transmission show to check the transmission until the second visit and after the repair was completed.  They also told me the previous front hub replacement was the source of the noise.  [redacted]r auto checked and found it was still good.  On the Road Trucks, [redacted], called [redacted] and requested they do the warranty replacement even though it was not bad.  [redacted] did state the noise seemed to come from the transfer case and mentioned the noise was still present.  I personally checked the transfer case and found signs of a leak and had to realign the driveshaft after OTRT failed to follow the manufacturer's instructions.I have attached a photo showing the transfer case fluid input port with signs of leakage.  After adding the fluid the noise disappeared. The noise after the repair by On the Road Trucks was also more intense after their work.  They seem to blame everyone else for their incompetence.  I also understand one of the techs who worked on my Jeep was fired after the repair of my vehicle.  [redacted] was hired shortly after because of a [redacted] review I placed.  Lots of hiding the facts and failing to accept responsibility by OTRT.

I am rejecting this response because: The issue has not been identified is it that simple. Tiles automotive never stated the amp was the cause and if it was why didn't they state hat in there report. I attached a letter received from the audio store to support my case.

Mr. [redacted] did have his window tinted at our shop. He inspected the vehicle fully with our installer in our "one" vehicle installation bay. He was perfectly happy with the job. Three days later he called claiming there was a small door ding and pushed the issue that it had to have happened while...

we were tinting his vehicle. However, when our employee and Mr. [redacted] inspected prior to leaving our location everything was just fine. Mr. [redacted] was very disrespectful to whom he did not know at the time of his phone call was my wife in regards to only discussing his needs with a specific employee at our location and that the employee would come in on our closed day "Sunday" to work on his vehicle. She advised that we do not this and he would need to schedule during our normal business hours. Later this same day he came into our store in person to try and pull the specified employee aside while I personally was at the sales counter watching the secretes of their conversation. I involved myself verbally to Mr. [redacted] and let him know he was speaking to my wife earlier on the phone, and confirmed with him face to face that we are not open for business on Sunday's and he would need to schedule further installations in our standard business hours. The next monday Mr. [redacted] came in very irate threatening to sue if we did not fix his windshield. Our staff had no idea what was going on or how we had damaged his windshield. After two days of our store manager communicating with Mr. [redacted] the truth had finally come forward. He had scheduled with that specific employee to come in on that "Sunday" and pay this employee as a side job not run through our business to conduct the work he needed. As a result this employee damaged the rear view mirror attached to the vehicles windshield. To suffice this situation I authorized a new windshield to be installed at our expense, even though the employee and customer both went against my policy and conspired side work to be done in my parking lot after hours. I feel I have done everything I need and more to resolve this situation. The customer has a brand new windshield installed in his vehicle. As far as the small ding, it was communicated verbally to our manager prior to the situation being escalated that he had track raced his vehicle and was verbalizing details of this. The track racing was done after the window tint install. I feel his ding came from another source and the vehicle left our shop in the same condition it arrived with both our employee and Mr. [redacted]'s inspection.

amount of noise being created underneath the vehicle a front end differential rebuild was recommended but customer was told there were other issues at hand but without a rebuild of this differential it would not be possible to clear all noise and finish full diagnositc. This is an independent front suspension differential therefore this particular front end needed to be sent to [redacted] to be fixed. Upon [redacted] opening up the front end, there was gear wear found but the major source of the problem in the front differential was that metal had gotten in to the front differential bearings leaving no option but an entire rebuild of the differential. Customer was informed that this front end differential rebuild was a substanial component of the noise and once we had received the differential back and reinstalled in the vehicle the continuous growling at all times had been cleared up. We did find that there was still additional noise coming from the vehicle under acceleration load and the customer was asked when he had ever had his transmission serviced and/or flushed, customer said that he had never done it to his knowledge. Mr. [redacted] was instructed to immediately take his vehicle to a transmission shop to have a service performed to ensure and rule out the transmission as another contributing factor. The front end differential was responsible for a substantial amount of the noise and needed to be replaced, this vehicle has a multitude of issues, some of which are still currently outstanding.

Review: I took my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee to On the Road Trucks for a noise in the front. They charged me $1,276.01 for a front differential repair that was not the source of the noise and did not need to be replaced. Talked with [redacted] who still maintains the front differential was bad. They outsourced the repair work to [redacted] who advised [redacted] there was “nothing in the front differential making a grinding noise. “ I talked with another repair shop and the problem ended up being low fluid in the transfer case. They did not perform a diagnostic of the problem and just replaced the most expensive part. The transfer case did have signs of a leak and after filling the case with the correct fluid the noise of the original service complaint was gone. Total cost to fix was $33, plus labor.Desired Settlement: Refund of the full amount $1,276.01 is the only rightful resolution to this matter.

Review: On The Road Trucks Inc. is holding my vehicle until I pay the towing, rental car, and repair fees for the work that has been done on my vehicle. Attempts have been made to repair the situation with my truck multiply times since the original time it had been brought it in to get fixed on 11/02/15. They are saying that the cause of my vehicle not functioning right was not there fault, however I have a paper trail of everything they have done to cause the problem aswell as attempt to fix the problem. Also letters from other business that have done work on my vehicle indicating that there is no way it was any of there work has caused the problem. Also On The Road Trucks Inc. has neglected to inform me when the truck was going to be sent out to another shop to be worked on as well as falsified information in there reports.Desired Settlement: I hope to find out the direct cause of my vehicle not functioning correctly and then from there see who will taking care of all the fees. I have documents and reports on every event that has occurred with them in needed to be presented.

Review: I went to go get an oil change with my step-son and mother in law. I'm a loyal customer and have been to this shop a few times for services. I purchased the Silver package which came with the oil change and top off all my fluids such as Brake fluid, Power-steering, and Coolant. Once the oil change was finished we left to get lunch. When I left the parking lot I heard this loud knock; as if someone was banging a sledge hammer to my engine. I turned around to head back to the shop and my car died. I made it back to the shop and we ended up being stuck in the shop for over 4 hours with no answers with a five year old. They told me my valve was broken, my pistons and a blown head gasket. It's been almost a week and still no vehicle. Taking action and calling trying to find a solution, between the Auto Shop and my Insurance company. Exhausting. I had to pay for a rental to get me to and from work for the last 5 days. That has hurt me financially. I had my car inspected by my insurance adjuster and didn't seem to speed up this process, or help. This store is finally paying for my rental for two weeks, yet my question is what is taking so long? I want my vehicle. I can't afford to lose my job for something I didn't cause. I'm playing the waiting game due to them sending my "new" oil filter to their manufacturing company to see if that's what caused the damage. If that's the cause then my insurance will start to help. I pray everything happens correctly and taken care of. My car was running great before I took it into this Auto shop.

I would like them to fix my car. If it needs a new engine. Then get me a new engine. I want things right. I've been so stressed over this matter. I need my vehicle, and I would like it running perfectly.

Business' Initial Response

In response to Ms. [redacted]'s issue, the automotive part that was installed in her car we believe had a manufacturer defect and was NOT the fault of On The Road Trucks. Ms. [redacted] has been a repeat, loyal customer we offereded a loaner car from our fleet of vehicles, which she declined. We attempted to contact several car rental agencies to provide a reliable form of transportation for Ms. [redacted], however; due to rental car regulations, we, as a business, were not able to reserve, pay or insure any rental vehicle. Their requirements were that she would have to rent the vehicle with her insurance We have an agreement in place with Enterprise Rent Car Rental in Lincoln, CA to pay the rental charges when the bill comes due. We have just extended the rental period an additional week and will continue to do so until the repair is completed. We are waiting for the manufacturer to respond with their analysis of the part defect and their authorization to proceed. We are not the manufacturer of the part in question and have no control over the response time. We apologize for any inconvenience this has cause her and assure you that we are as anxious to complete her repairs and to discontinue the rental car payment. While we can appreciate her anxiousness to resolve the matter, we have made every attempt to insure that she has reliable transportation.

Review: I had my tinting done and accessory installed by On the Road Truck and they have damaged my vehicles body, destroyed my from window while installing my radar accessory and have stolen cables I paid for and had not returned it back to me even as they said they would on all complaints. The installation of the radar holder was paid for in full and was being installed free of charge and the cables for the radar to be installed were also paid for in full and I have all the receipts. [redacted] whose installing this never shows up even as I as texted and he confirmed he will. They have not answered my call to return calls even as I have called numerous times and asked to speak to the owner and manager [redacted] (owner) and [redacted] (Mgr.)The people lies and and never fulfill they're agreements even if I have receipts and recorded text communication with them.Desired Settlement: Pay for all vehicles damages incurred and return my cables with fund to have the installation charges done.
