On June 3, Outdoor Architects installed a drainage system in my backyard, at a cost of $On July 2, 2015, while another landscaper was beginning the installation of my patio, we noticed a strong feces-like odor coming from all three of the drains that Outdoor Architects installedThe landscaper opened up the drain and found black sludge and standing water overflowing from each of the three drainsUpon further opening of the drainage system, We found that the drainage pipe was not connected to the drainage box, the drain pipe itself was not stabilized with gravel on the top or bottom of the pipe, there was no mesh cover over the pipe, to prevent movement of the pipe in the groundThere was also no swale in the grading which is required for the water to move in the drainI did not trust Outdoor Architects to correct the systemI paid the landscaper $to correct the systemI took pictures of the dysfunctional drainage system, and requested a refund of the service price
Outdoor Architects landscaped our house in May They covered our stoop in pavers and stone, added a walkway, a patio and plantings all the way around Their work was impeccable Mark and his crew were professional and accommodating to change requests The price was very reasonable I would recommend Mark and Outdoor Architects to anybody who asked
