On Track Garage Door Services

We hired On Track Garage Door Services to do some basic garage door repairs. One of our garage doors was sticking and the weather seal at the bottom needed to be replaced. [redacted] came and completed the services in two separate calls. In talking with [redacted], he mentioned that he also did property management services that included soup to nuts in home repairs. Since my husband is disabled and I work fulltime outside the home we had several home improvements that need completion. We asked [redacted] if he was interested in the additional work. He agreed and return at a later date to begin the work. Our bathroom shower was leaking and it needed to repaired inside the wall, our dishwasher was broken and needed to be removed and another dishwasher needed to be installed. This work started in July on 2015 and it took several weeks for our shower to be repaired and the wall to be patched up. Since [redacted] worked on remodels, he was offer to sell us a used dishwasher for $75 which later became $100 and install it. [redacted] did remove our old dishwasher (he left the old dishwasher in my garage and I had to bring it to the dump for disposal) and install the new one but he forgot the kick plate (bottom piece of the dishwasher). He said he would bring it to us. The removal and installation of the new dishwasher was not done in one day, it took serval days over the course of a week or two. In the course of his work, there was always something else that we need to buy. [redacted] was given money for the drywall and other supplies (including new hoses for the dishwasher), we didn?t need all the supplies and he was returning the excess and was to refund us a $167 but we never receive the refund or the kick plate. Several times, [redacted] promised to drop of the kick plate and cash but something always came up. One time he asked if I could met him because he did not have much time in between jobs, I agreed. I sat in the grocery store parking lot for one and half hours waiting for him. I went to On Track Garage Door Services Facebook page and it had a 5 star rating, upon further investigation I found out every review was false, they were all made by friends of [redacted]. I know for a fact that one review was a complete outright lie because the individual never has lived in a home with a garage. Once, I added my review advising the buyer to beware [redacted] became belligerent and hostile saying that I would not get anything until I removed my review. He stated once the review was removed he would mail me a check and make arrangement for the kick plate to be dropped off at my home. I removed it in hopes of getting my missing dishwasher part and the money but he still has not received it. My husband was hospitalized in late August and in October had additional surgery. Honestly, the dishwasher kick plate and cash was not a priority for me during this time. I had reached out to [redacted] several times throughout the fall 2015 but to no avail. I was told that he had personal or health problems and was out of reach for several weeks. I finally was able to contact [redacted] and he said he owed me nothing and once again became belligerent.
