My husband and I paid On Trek approximately $500 for the [redacted] High School band trip. The trip was canceled due to lack of students involved. We have repeatedly called On Trek, yet have never received a return call. The [redacted] High School Band director has held one meeting to date, on this issue. There have been no refunds or good will shown to rectify this situation.Product_Or_Service: High School Band TripOrder_Number: [redacted]Account_Number: [redacted]Desired SettlementI want a full refund, in one payment. I want this complaint to be shown on the business record. Please respond to me via email, informing me on any other options I have to recieve reimbursement and/or file a complaint. I am deeply concerned that this business, aimed toward High School trips only, are taking advantage of High Schools and High School students. Many students involved either paid for this trip or had the agreement to repay parents.

On-trek student travel has requested an on-time monthly payment to handle a trip for the [redacted] High School band to attend Disney in the month of June. I made on-time payments as scheduled for 10 months. Unfortunately, the school was unable to get the required number of students and parents to attend. Therefore, the trip was cancelled in early April. It is now the first week of June. Several parents have contacted [redacted] and she has continuously pacified most or all parents with the answer, "Sorry but we lost employees and getting the checks out are taking longer than normal." I contacted Marion last week (5/26) and she reported the same thing. However, she stated, "Your check will go out today or tomorrow" I iterated to her that many parents need this funding now as they don't have an extra $1000 for her to hang onto. She apologized. I called today to be told that "no, I have not gotten your check out. Sorry." I told her that it didn't take that many employees to accept my money so it shouldn't take that many to pay me my check. She stated that the company was having cash flow problems. I told her that our funds were paid in full and cash flow should not be an issue with the knowledge that cancellation could happen as stated in their policies. I asked if her business was going under and should I hire a lawyer, her response was no. Yet the monies for our school are not available to us as refunds due to cash flow. My complaint is on behalf of my student who could not attend this event. Now the parents are made to pay because of poor accounting practices. This is unacceptable. She easily took my funding and now she needs to pay it back. BTW-my last payment to On-Trek was made on 04/14/15.Desired SettlementI do not just want my refund. As I stated to [redacted], I have spoke with several parents in the same boat who [redacted] seems to say repeatedly, "I am doing the best I can. NO, your payment is not in the mail." She even stated a few payments had gone out to other parents but I am now questioning that information. We live in a small poor town attempting to make opportunities for our children where we can. We cannot afford for [redacted] to keep our funds She needs to refund in timely manner.

Our trip was cancelled we were promised a refund in May to date no refund and now no one answers the phone nor returns messages. [redacted] High School Band booked a trip to Disney to depart June 10 and return June 14, 2015. The trip cost each student $1019.00 so for 36 students that is a total of $36,684.00.Our payment started July 2014, in May of 2015 we had to cancel our trip due to unforseen problems. The band instructor was the point of contact with On-Trek and was told that each student would be refunded in full less the bus deposit of approximently $998.00. He was told they would be mailing the checks out within the week. We are now going on week 5 and still no refund. 2 of the 36 students received their refunds but no one else, several parents were ablt to talk to representatives from On-Trek on different occasions and each time were given a different reason or excuse at to why the rest had not been mailed. For the past 2 weeks I have tried to call at all hours of the day and have left messages with each attempt but have not received a return call yet. Other parents have not been able to get ahold of anyone either and have not received return calls. There is a rumor going around that On-Trek is going out of business and filing for bankruptcy but since we are in [redacted] and they Nevada it is hard to confirm this rumor. They have knowinly and blantely lied to parents and stolen about $36,000.00 or $1019.00 from each students family that they are not refunding. I think that when they mailed those first 2 checks they set a presendence and know they need to refund all students monies but are blantenly avoiding doing so. I need answers and I need their Revdex.com status to show less than desireable. They are stealing and in [redacted] that is punishable by law. Desired SettlementThey can refund all[redacted] High School Band Students their monies owed them. We each paid in $1019.00 for this trip so that is $36,684.00 total they collected total. All payment had to be paid in full on or before April 10, 2015 or that student forfeited all monies and did not get to go on the trip. They told us that we would have our money back before June 1, 2015 and still no money, something needs to be done to companies who steal from clients. I think an investigtion into this company needs to opened by CID of Neveda as well as Revdex.com. People need to be brought to justice.

Refund not issued for cancelled high school band trip. Was told refund was being sent, now the company will not return any calls or emails.My son was to travel with his HS school band to [redacted] with On-Trek student/education services. The trip had to be cancelled, however parents were reassured that refunds ($1,000 per student) would be issued. For 3 weeks I was in communication with an employee, Lorrie of On-Trek, that my check would be mailed the following week. Then still after no refund I was told by Lorrie that there was a "snarl" with the refunds and to contact one of the owners of On-Trek, [redacted] Bach. I have emailed and called [redacted] repeatedly and she does not respond. No communication has been given to the parents as to when or if we will receive a refund. [redacted] Bach continues to advertise for student groups to sign up with On-Trek, yet she did claim to our band director that she was trying to sell her business and she had a cash flow issue. Her business practices are beyond shady and she is taking advantage of students. Desired SettlementI want a full refund for the cancelled band trip as stated on the information given to the parents back in Aug 2014.
