We called Southern Air of shreveport on the saturday before Thankgiving Our heat was not working and probably went off friday evening The house was cold Response was prompt Service Tech said we needed a new motor and module Guesstamate $ WOW!
Problem is we do not know if the distributor has the parts in stock We can have him open up and check, but that will be $extra The service call was $ I mentioned that their ad said the first service call would be $off Tech said oh no, that is weekdays only Coupon and ad did NOT say that
Ok we will hang in till monday Monday they said we can get the part, but we cannot get to you until wednesday and maybe friday We are all booked up I explained we were in our eighties and had no family in this state that we could go stay with We are freezing Last two mornings have been degrees Please My husband is a heart patient and is barely able to walk Sorry, cannot do until at least wednesday Want us to order the part?
I told them since they could not get out here today and repair our heating unit we will try to get a second opinion Called another company that had serviced our old unit a few years back He came out Checked unit and drove over to the distributor and had our unit on before noon And for $less then Southern Air
Then he called us next day to be sure we were alright and that we were warm and comfortable So nice So thoughtful He cared Southern air has not called us to yet to see if they should put us on their calendar I would say these people just do not care about anyone I would rate them expensive, ads and coupons are worthless and I would suggest using anyone other then Southern Air
My daughter-in-law in Maryland was shocked at how they just did nothing to help us She said any company would have moved things around to get heat to an older couple with medical issues and no where to fo for warmth I would have thought so too
Conclusion, use anyone, but Southern Air Southern Air does not care
