Review: 1) One Call gave a quote of $5500 and charged us $85002) One Call ordered materials without our approval and then informed us that they were non-returnable3) One Call did not advise that original quote was exceeding beyond $55004) One Call did not provide us with a bill during the process of the job or timely after the completion of the job even though we requested a bill repeatedly during the process and after completion 5) One Call charged us for services, in excess, that would not have been needed, if proper evaluation of the project had been performed by One Call beforehand 6) One Call sent our account to collections without verbal or written notice One Call was contacted in December to give a quote on electrical repair and plumbing service. At that time we requested a "quote" for purchase of a Commercial Hot Water Heater. John Giangrosso, owner of One Call called back with a quote not to exceed $5500 and that he had "ordered" the Commercial Hot Water Heater and it was non-returnable. Although we were not satisfied with ordering without our approval the quote seemed fair and was agreed upon. During the repair and service process, due to poor evaluation of the project, several problems were encountered with the installation of the Commercial Hot Water Heater. At no time during this process were we informed the charges would exceed $5500 and we asked several times for update on billing charges. Two months after the completion, and many requests later,we received billing of $8500. This was disputed. John reduced to $7986 and we disputed. He stated he could reduce to $6750 and we still disputed but paid $3350 and John said we would discuss later. Six months later we received 1 phone call from One Call(no invoices were sent) asking for payment of $4636 and we explained the dispute and was told John would call us. Within a few days we received phone call from his collection agency. We mailed a check for $2150 to pay balance of $5500 quote and they state they will not honor quote. Desired Settlement: One Call needs to honor their original quote of $5500. They have accepted our initial payment of $3350 and need to accept our final payment (already sent) of $2150 which fulfills our obligation of the agreed upon quote.
