I bought a house in that was built in and it needed some LovinGoing with this company was one of the best moves that I have made in my life I have many friends that could have come over and done work on my house but I chose to go with this all-inclusive non-taillight warranty companyFrom start to finish I worked with great people that were willing to help get you the best price and best workmanshipI was able to get to a number that I was comfortable with then I sat back and watched as unbelievable work was done on my houseI watched as they put on a brand-new roof and the only break was lunch I watched as they replaced over feet of facia board and panels of plywoodEach worker was precise as the foreman watched over everythingThe next day I watched a brand-new crew wrap all of my wood in new soffits and aluminumI watched every piece bent precisely, nailed carefully, and wiped down My brand-new gutters were put at the right pitch and protected with a high-end gutter guardThere was attention to detail from top to bottom with this company and I couldn't be happier! I then watched it rain for all of Spring with a smile on my face

[To assist us in bringing this matter to a close, you must give us a reason why you are rejecting the responseIf no reason is received your complaint will be closed as Answered] Complaint: [redacted] I do not agree with the statement from the contractor that the customer had not contacted them about the problemI called their phone number as posted on the website (###-###-####) on March 27, and sent an email to MrR [redacted] ( [redacted] @onedayroofing.com) that same dayMy wife had left a voice mail several days earlierBased on the Revdex.com notice (April 10th) that the contractor pledged to contact us, I expected to get a call or email yesterday, but received neitherThis morning (April 11), I called them again and was pleased that someone answered the phoneI spoke with a gentleman named Carmello, who said he would call me back to schedule an appointment for one of their technicians to come out and examine the problemHe said he would call my cell phone (###-###-####).Because of the lack of responsiveness from One Day Roofing, I hired another company, American Home Contractors, to come out and examine the roofThey came on April 5thTheir technician reported that the loose shingles had not been nailed into place according to the manufacturer's specifications, that the flashings around the chimney were not embedded into the mortar, and that the collars around the vent pipe were problematic He did not carry matching shingles on his truck so I asked him to reapply the loose ones that were there and seal up any problem areas I am attaching their inspection report and a second document called "roof photos" which has the weblink to the phots, which is as follows: [redacted] I selected American Home Contractors because they are a GAF Master Elite roofing contractorThe shingles and materials are GAF products and under a GAF Weather Stopper System Plus LtdWarranty.Regards, [redacted]

We use a 3rd party marketing company that we purchase positive leads from called www. [redacted] .com and they use their customer data base to contact potential clients.

Each worker was precise as the foreman watched over everything. The next day I watched a brand-new crew wrap all of my wood in new soffits and aluminum. -We have been in contact with this customer multiple times informing him that a ridge vent can not be installed on roofing that is LOW SLOPE (2/12 pitch or lower) -Im attaching a report of his house showing the pitch of his roof.-He states in the complaint that he had contacted the finance...

company to also report the matter, attached you will find documentation showing he had just contacted [redacted] 12/13/16.-Im also attaching a copy of the check I am mailing as a refund for this ridge vent and alone the pricing of 40 ft of the material.-Every single one of our projects does carry a lifetime transferable warranty, we don’t offer anything less

I am rejecting this response because: One Day Roofing has presented an electronic version, but the actual paperwork has the salesman's written note that we were paying CASH!! We wrapped up everything and the salesman left, but returned after calling his supervisor and advised that even though we were paying cash, we needed to fill out the credit application as a "good faith" measure.  If needed, I can also show where we too9k the money out of our 401K after that evenings meeting.  We had no need to finance because we had the available cash.After filing my comnplaint, I contacted by the owner of One Day Roofing, who apologized and offered to drop the price and do the installation. He insisted that they do it that Friday coming up, but I explained to him that my husband was still out of town and wouldn't be home until that following week. He then became extremely arrogant with me and informed me that I would not find anyone that would do the roof for less than the $10,000 that he was "giving" me and since he had a cancellation I needed to take that date. I felt uncomfortable with the pressure tactic as well as the attitude that came along with it. I made the decision that I would find a company that I did feel comfortable working with.
