One Direction Motors Reviews (3)

I am writing in responds to the letter I received from Revdex.com on Friday, May 30, 2014.
Regards to customers statement.
I got a call from her co woker who happens to be a good friend of mine and has bought several cars from my little dealership, based on trust and good...

business relationship he told me about [redacted] that he had recommended her to me and that I will be getting a call from her (customer)
Customer called me and we scheduled an appointment to meet in my office. She came in and said she needed a [redacted] that her price range/budget was 5000 for the car. I told her my fee is $1000 to buy her the car directly from the auction which was none refundable as posted on my office wall, she paid the $1000 fee. Showed her couple of [redacted] that was runing on 2/25/2014 and talked about millage before the car was bought whereby customer agreed and gave me the go ahead to buy the vehicle. I bought a 2004 [redacted] with a milage of 170,897 from [redacted] auction where most or all theire car are reliable. Called customer and told her as soon as the car was bought and she said she was coming to the office to bring the $5365 which was the total selling price at the auction. Since she wanted to stay at $5000 as her budget I told her not to worry with the $365 that she should just com with the $5000 that I was going to complete the balance of $365. And the policy of [redacted] auction stated that all vehicle must be paid for within 48hrs sale, 3 days after my account was deactivated due to the unpaid funds. Customer never came in, I called her phone several times she was not taking her calls until 2 weeks later she came in and paid $1500 and said she was waiting for her tax money on the 3/14/2014 that I should pls wait for her.
I was sent 3 e mails different time and date by [redacted] to come pay for the vehicle, I could not do bussinesss within those period due to my account that was inactive, I had to take a loan to pay for the vehicle so as to get my business runinng.
I called customer eventually on the 3/14/2014 as she promised she will be coming to pay she did not give a positive answer and I told her to come up with the money and take her car did not here nothing from her until she took the matter to court.
I am willing to give customer her deposite of $1500 even though she has caused me alot.

Review: We purchased a [redacted] from [redacted], which he advertised and stated was never wrecked, had a clean title and 73,000 miles. Within a week of purchasing, we experienced many problems with the car including motor mount and steering issues, which led us to request a [redacted] report. The report showed that the car was declared a total loss on April 16, 2015 (prior to me buying it) and had 193,000 miles on it; MUCH different from the title signed to me on July 13 which showed no issues and had 73,759 miles. This suggests that he either created a new, false title or had knowledge of the true mileage and state of the car when he sold it to me. I have since paid for several costly repairs and kindly contacted [redacted] and his dealership, One Direction Motors, to notify him of the problems with the car, title, mileage and misrepresentation, and asked for a refund of my money. His "partners" were present at the dealership when I visited and told me that they would immediately contact [redacted] and this situation would be made "right". [redacted] never returned my call, answered the phone, or contacted me in any way, even though several texts, phone calls and attempts were made to his business. I believe he knowingly sold me a car which had been tampered with and was not as advertised. I have documentation and receipts to support all of my claims.Desired Settlement: I would like a full refund of the car that I purchased, in addition to the cost of the repairs since purchasing. I will gladly return the car to his dealership in exchange for my money that I am owed. If I am not refunded, I would suggest an investigation into his dealership and further business to be halted while he is investigated as he may involved in criminal acts.

Response:

I would like to drop my complaint at this time and close the case. The dealership at fault called me last week and offered to take back the car and refund me the initial purchase price. The $5,000 has now been refunded to me. Thank you for your assistance. No further action is needed.
