Called 24hr when my husband was deployed and ac went out during the summer. Unclear if original attempt at repair caused more problems or if it were the original issue. Left the control board disconnected and in a state other repairmen did not want to touch. Unproffesional behavior by staff: numerous messages left without return call. Told, "I'm sorry, ma'am. I can't do anything but pass along a message." Still with no call back over one month. This company came out quickly to my home, yes, but failed to respond to follow up calls with unprofessional behavior by numerous staff. I wonder if this is a result of me contacting another company for repair due to the very high repair or unit replacement costs quoted. I am left with this as my only answer because of failure to communicate on behalf of the company.
Company never disclosed that I was dealing with 1 company waited 26 hours for service that I was "next on the list" for. Told I need a new motor-NOT!
July 6th-about 10:00 PM- AC not working-could not find paperwork/receipt for AC unit- called 2 different companies for emergency service. Had family staying including 2 grand babies( 2 and 4 years old) - Called One Hour Air and ARS-different phone #'s, different operators -No one disclosed that they were the same company- Was told someone would definitely come the next day by 11 AM. No one called or came! Called all day-both companies #'s I was told I was "Next on the List". Showed up 12AM-
26 hours latter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
Service man fixed the condenser that night $238.00 but said I also needed a new motor. He said the motor MIGHT hold out for a few days until he installed a new one! He said he needed to order one and it would cost $747.00. He said he would put in the order and the office would call to set up installation of it. A week latter, I am still waiting for the phone call!
I found my original paperwork and contacted the company who installed my unit two years ago. They came out to check my AC and said NOTHING was wrong with the motor!
They also said that One Hour should have work with me since the unit is/looks new and not charged me the full price of the condenser.
I feel this company does not live up to its name (ONE HOUR). They should have not promised me service the next day knowing I had 2 young babies in the house. I feel they are also misleading the public due to their various names and phone #'s for service. They should have disclosed to me that they were the same company after calling them numerous times and speaking with different people. Also, they were not truthful in telling me I needed a new motor. If this motor was so urgent why haven't I heard from the company yet!
I spoke with Ms. and cleared up the confusion with the two different companies. We have offered her a one year complementary HCC. She was satisfied with this resolution.
