I am rejecting this response because: I was NEVER told that these oxegen sensors were on order I was told the oxygen sensors were installed and when I crawled under to check I found out that they were NOT installed The Oxygen sensors were already installed by another mechanic so I could go on my planned vacationI would like a refund or I will go to small claims court.

Review: One King Auto had my vehicle towed by [redacted] at [redacted] in [redacted] Pa. [redacted] towed my vehicle back to One King Auto, after I had informed them that I was the registered owner of the vehicle. One King Auto informed me that my vehicle was back on the premises and that I could come pick up my vehicle. When I went to pick up my vehicle I found out that my gas tank was removed and placed in the trunk of the car. One King Auto told me that they would not install my gas tank back in the car unless I paid them to install it back into the vehicle, or I could find someone to tow my vehicle to my home which I would have to pay for myself.Desired Settlement: I want my gas tank put back in the vehicle and get it inspected because the inspection ran out at the end of June. Or they can pay me the [redacted] Blue Book value of the car.

Response:

To whom it may concern,It was approximately March 23, 2014 this vehicle came to my shop by [redacted]'s son-in-law). He wanted an estimate on front end, steering column work & body work. When given the estimate, he claimed he didn't have the money to pay that amount and would be in touch. The vehicle was here parked on my lot for several days. have a policy stated in my place of business stating any vehicles left over 3 days will be charged a storage fee of $25.00/day for 30 days. Thereafter the vehicle will be considered abandoned & towed to the junkyard, and so I did. The vehicle went to [redacted]'s [redacted] after 3 months.[redacted] finally contacted me, and at that time I informed him that the vehicle was removed from my property and towed to [redacted]'s [redacted] contacted [redacted]'s and asked about his vehicle, [redacted]'s informed him that they towed the car from One King Automotive because it was abandoned, but was willing to bring the car back here, but unknowingly to me, the gas tank had already been removed. When [redacted] came to my shop to get the vehicle, he discovered the tank was in the trunk of the car and was upset & didn't know what had transpired for the past 3 months. At that point I told him I tried to reach [redacted] numerous times, also left messages with [redacted] then asked what it would cost to get the car fixed. At that time I told him that I really wasn't interested in fixing it. He asked me if we could discuss what to do with the car when he got back from his son's graduation from the Marines. He said he would be here by July 7th, 2014. Could we please hold on until then. I agreed to let the car sit for one more week. July 7th came & went and still no correspondence with either [redacted] or [redacted]. I then had it towed a second time to a different impound facility for abandoned vehicles. In closing. The vehicle has been parked on my property for a total of 4 1/2 months, I had no choice but to have it towed away. The vehicle was here for an unacceptable amount of time & it was not my fault it was towed away. He told me he purchased a [redacted] the same day he dropped the [redacted] off, and that is why I believe that the he had no interest in even dealing with the issue.Additionally, I could have served him a 41/2 month storage bill @$25.00/day totaling $3375.00+ But I didn't because I was trying to be the nice guy. The [redacted] Family has given us work int the past, but is time I believe I was being taken advantage by [redacted] (not [redacted]).Please find enclosed:1. Standard Business Questionnaire 2.
