Review: I have been a customer of this business for over 10 years with absolutely no issues. In fact, I have been a great customer. I have had my Payment drafted from my same account that I have had for years on a monthly basis for a couple of years now. I had received an invoice in the mail stating I was delinquent for Decembers Payment. I called them and they stated there was something with their computer system and my Payment did not go through, however I was responsible for not only the amount of the repayment, but the interest as well. I spoke to [redacted] as well as [redacted] at this office and stated repeatedly that this is not my fault and I should not be charged interest. [redacted] was very rude to me and stated I should have called them earlier. [redacted] laughed at me when I told him no, I will not Pay interest on something that is not my fault. The customer service (or lack there of) is horrendous. If I had been a bad customer, I could almost see it, however I have never had a problem with them in the 10 years I have dealt with them. I do not thik it is fair, or think it should it be legal to charge me interest due to their computer issues. I am a single mother, with only one income. I do the best I can but I do Pay my payment every month. I do not have long until this loan is paid off, and I wonder if this is on purpose to get more money out of me. I have been in tears for the past few weeks due to this. The way I have been treated is unacceptable!Desired Settlement: I would like for them to apologize, eat the payment(s) that THEY have messed up on. Hello,

Thank you for your time. I would like the interest to be waived for the last 2 payments that they did not draft (as originally set-up and arranged). I will have this loan paid off by the end of this month.

I would have gladly recommended One Main Financial prior to this horrible experience. I was laughed at, and talked down to due to THEIR ERROR.

I will no longer do business with them and I will encourage everyone I know not to do business with them as well.

We have had an opportunity issues to review the raised and offer the following response.First and foremost we appreciate Ms. [redacted] bringing this matter to our attention, and we apologize for any inconvenience this situation may have caused her.Our records reflect that Ms. [redacted] originally obtained an interest-bearing, personal loan with [redacted] branch office on January 14, 2010, with a principal amount of $10,025.40 and in interest rate of 24.99%. The loan was repayable in 60 monthly installments consisting of one initial payment of $335.95, followed by 59 payments of $294.20 each and was assigned the account number [redacted]. I have enclosed a copy of her Disclosure statement, Note and security Agreement and Itemization of Amount Financed for reference.Please be aware that as of July 1, 2011, the serving office in [redacted] began operating as OneMain Financial.According to our records Ms. [redacted] opted to use our AutoPay Plus program for the amount of $294.20 to be withdrawn from her account starting December 20, 2012 and ending December 15, 2014. I have enclosed a copy of the enrollment form signed by Ms. [redacted].Please note, our records indicate the [redacted] servicing office made several attempts to contact Ms. [redacted] pertaining to her AutoPay end date and payment arrangements and has been unsuccessful.We encourage Ms. [redacted] to contact the branch manager [redacted], at phone number ###-###-####, to work with her on a possible work-out solution for her account. OneMain Financial corporate offices are unable to access detailed account information to facilitate loan adjustments.
