One of A Kind Furniture Service

I signed a contract with John McEwen to refinish my kitchen cupboards on 2-14-12 and gave him a downpayment of $1750.00. On the final day of work I was unable to stay on site, due to a previous appt. When I returned, the workers were cleaning up and the cabinets looked fine. On 5-7-12 I paid the other half of the contract, $1750.00. Unfortunately , I began to notice little problems, but mismatched paint color is the main problem.So I sent John a letter, dated 9-5-12 so he could correct the problems. He did come back and fix some of the minor problems. However the cabinet color is not consistent on all the cupboards--some too dark, some a little too light. There is also a few spots on the baseboard that were not completely covered. The area under the kitchen island was also only partially painted.John has stopped by a couple of times and left his card, but I did not know he was coming, so I wasn't home. He has also made several appointments with me, but not shown up.
