I did a design project for this client Drapes for rooms one of which is very tall, furniture and some pieces of art that were custom framedof the pieces of art were to be custom painted oilsI tried for a year to make an appointment to install her drapes but she didn't want them to be installed until after her furniture cameThis was a hardship to store these drapes for a yearconstantly watching out for them and moving themUnfortunately my drapery installer who could do this tall of a room had to have hip replacement surgery and could not work anymore I did not have anyone who would install that high and come that farI found a guy in the bay but he would not go to Elk GroveIts very unfortunate but I did try to get her to let me have them installed for a yearand I told her when she found someone tell them to invoice me for the install [redacted] said she would find someone to install and they would just pick up drapes and hardware, so I of course allowed thisAt this point with the drapes, they took on that responsibility to have them installedOn the art I had a company in the UK who did these custom oils for meThey finished them and sent them to me but one was damaged so I sent it backThey never sent me the painting backI had been trying to get ahold of them, as I had done business with this company for many yearsThey have never responded back I have just found another company who can produce this painting and I will be ordering it shortlyI had explained this to [redacted] a little while back when her husband came to my business and was incredibly rude and demandingThey have the custom frame for this piece of art, I just have to have the piece remade by the new companywhich will comeThe custom furniture I designed, selected and managed for themcame a bit late but it was perfect and they loved it! I tried very hard to work with these clients and make things perfect but it was very difficultthey expected me to do things and not be paid for it The extreme extended time it took to finish the job was really beyondbut I tried to satisfy themthey have received everything on this project but piece of art which they will getTheir gross exaggeration is really uncalled forthey certainly didn't mind making me wait over a yearand then the lighting they were to have me do, once they were comfortable with my vendorthey decided to go direct and cut me outwhich is whatevernot something most of my clients would do but...its whatever These people have not been overchargedthey received all but the paintingI have been in the design business for yearsand never had a disgruntled client until nowI am anything but a Con Artist! She never offered to pay for installment of drapery if I find someoneI appreciate that she is doing so now. She never "tried" for "a year" to install my drapes, she simply asked me when I would like them installed and left offered to store them until furniture arrives. With her experience, she should have known my room is tall and should have the professionalism to complete the job. The only reason my husband drove one hour to pick up whatever we could is because we don't trust her. We are just trying to get what we paid forI appreciate Revdex.com's involvement in getting me a response, I really hope she will come through in days and get the painting and refund the installment fee unless she has found someone to install the drapesI will mark my calendar for days from today. I am glad she took care of ***, I hope she is not lying again, unfortunately, I have heard that from her before.Thank you

[redacted] is taken care of. they will receive the painting or a refund within the next 45 days. They have the custom frame so there will be no refund for that regardless... Even though they took the drapes and said they would get them installed I would consider still paying for this.. Even though they have slammed me, lied and grossly exaggerated about this whole project.

Custom in that they were hand painted and custom framed.  She had ordered 4, she received 2 of the 3 oils, but she received all 4 frames.
I tried for a year to make an appointment to hang her drapes and she refused, saying she wanted to wait until everything was in. I only had one drapery installer who had the ability to do install that high of drapes.  Plus I had to store the drapes, consistently moving them to accommodate shipments, people and the activity of a business.  I am not equipped to store items like that.
[redacted] received EVERYTHING from her design contract, short of the one oil painting. I am still trying to find a company to complete the piece.  Unfortunately the previous company I used,  my emails are returned  and it is assumed have gone out of business. To say I'm  a crook is very insulting and absolutely not the case.  She received her furniture exactly how she wanted it.. I stayed in the loop on the order and when the chairs came in wrong.. I was on it for her to have them replaced immediately.  She loved everything and was completely happy, even telling me she would have the drapes installed herself after my installer had hip surgery and retired.  She loved the paintings and they were perfect!  yes I owe her a painting... yes I still owe her an installation fee but in lieu of my storing and moving those drapes around for a year.. I really feel that was a wash.  I will get her the painting, I have found a couple businesses who can do the work.
She had gone onto Yelp and insulted me and told lies of which can never be removed or taken off the internet now.  Like I said, she received everything but 1 oil painting and Everything was perfect. She is very ungrateful and even when I made special all day trips to the bay on her behalf to check on her furniture order she complained that I billed her for my time and she was completely offended by that. I asked her do you work for nothing [redacted]?
As for [redacted], I am their client not [redacted], they should not be contacting her at all which was a problem for a while now.. but they are taken care of. They were contacted sometime ago so I hardly believe they would still be calling [redacted].
I will get her the painting as soon as I can...

Review: There are three major issues which I would like addressed. I hired [redacted] to do my interior design project, ordered furniture from [redacted] design thru her, she gave me an invoice for $11,000, of which she did not completely forward to [redacted]. She owes them $1000 which I have already paid to her and now I am getting phone calls from them as they did not get paid. She also charged me for a painting which she never delivered. Lastly, she charged me to get my drapery ready and hung and now I can not get hold of her. She overcharged me thousands of dollars and has not completed the project. First of all, I would like for her to pay up [redacted], get me the painting she owes me or return me the money for the painting and the frame and lastly, either get the drapery hung or refund the money. PLEASE HELP! She is a con artist!!!Desired Settlement: I would like [redacted] paid(they are threatening to take me to court tomorrow). I would like my painting or full refund for painting and frame. In addition, I would like her to get my drapery hung or refund money.
