Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: To begin, these are professional but courteous lies stated by STATE WIDE MOVING The statement about $per pound regarding damages was NEVER verbally told to me and I wasn't asked to sign nor was I shown any paperwork untilafter the moveAs many times over the phone speaking to Loren voicing my concerns about his company's experience moving a china cabinet of that magnitude, he kept saying how they are well experienced, they have an excellent rating with the Revdex.com since its inception and it wouldn't be a problemThey continue to ignore that the employee responsible for breaking the china cabinet was intoxicated and reeked of alcoholWhen I questioned him about ithe said it was from last night.Howeverafter the move I discovered an [redacted] Ice Tea can that was left behind that smelled of alcoholYes they took the cabinet doors to see if the glass guy they use could repair it and told me they would call me Well, weeks went by, no one calledAfter the second week, I called numerous times, always voicemailFinally Loren returned my call informing their glass guy couldn't repair it He continued to say that he knew that it was going to cost much more than $because of the caliber of my dining room furnitureThat was the first time I heard that figure It was at that time that I stated that I would research my area for repair because I'm to miles away Also I told him if I found someone I would submit the estimate via email He said verbatim "That will be fine." I inquired and amongst to companies submitted the lowest estimate which is $ After the submission, I didn't hear from the company for well over a weekWhat they're not telling you is that they made a conference call to me "All Men" trying to intimidate me and denounce my accusation of the intoxicated mover that broke the cabinetThey asked for proof of purchase which to their surprise I was able to provide Days later I received an email from Michael R, (I have never verbally spoken to him) offering the $I unsatisfyingly took it because during the conference call Loren was indirectly saying either take what they offer or get nothing Due to the fact that they were refusing to pay the full amount of $615.25, I decided to file with the Revdex.comHow dare they try to intimidate and bully a disabled senior citizen female.Let's think about this for a moment, you are willing to pay $500.00, but not $ Why is the difference of $such a big deal? They know this estimate was legitimate and could have verified itMy furniture was custom made in Italy and it is a large piece of glass from the door that was broken.STATE WIDE MOVING didn't try to resolve this matter in my favor If they were really sincere and wanted to resolve this in my favor, they would pay the remaining $ I mean really a company that is responsible and claim to be fair, decent, and in good standing, wouldn't make such an argument over $ Why should I have to pay out of my pocket for an intoxicated employee breaking my furniture? Complaint: [redacted] I have forwarded you a quote of $3,to replace upstairs carpetI think it is only fair to replace master bedroom 15xroomTotal of rooms was $I would accept $1,to replace one room of carpet Regards, [redacted]

Dear *** ***,First and foremost, in this matter our company is only liable up to $per pound per article for damages to items that were movedThis is clearly stated numerous times on the paperwork that you signed before we started the moveCovering your china cabinet at an increased
weight valuation of pounds would have only yielded a $reimbursement. The act of moving furniture is considered "in-transit"As professional movers we do move glass china cabinets and other fragile furniture on a daily basis without incident but unfortunately accidents happenWhat differentiates us from other movers is that when we have an accident, we always go far above and beyond our legal liabilityFirst, we offered and tried to have the glass repaired by a shop that we work withUnfortunately they were not able to source the curved glassAfter this we sent two movers back to your home to re-install the glass doors, further costing this company time and moneyAgain, please keep in mind, there are very few if any other moving companies that would do thisMost would simply send a standard valuation reimbursement and close the matter. We then made an offer over twice ($350) our legal liability for damageWhen you refused this offer we increased it to over three times ($500) our liability in the hopes of resolving this issue in a manner that would greatly re-compensate you for the damageAt no point in time were your choices what we offered or nothingWe clearly tried in numerous ways to resolve this matter in your best interestAll this was done in the hopes that you would see and be satisfied by our efforts to avoid a complaint filed with the Revdex.com.Furthermore, by accepting the $reimbursement, you signed a service agreement stating that you were accepting this money to satisfy any and all damages as well as any and all service discrepancies that occurred during your move.Again, we apologize for any inconvenience that this matter has caused you and hope you realize how much we tried to resolve this matter in your favorDue to the fact that you have signed a service agreement and accepted the $reimbursement, we consider this matter to be closed at this time.Warmest Regards, - Michael R

few issuesUpon completion of the move you singed the billing of lading stating that the move was completed and you received all of your items in good conditionNo damages were reported before the crew left your new home. You also signed an order for service accepting the standard valuation insurance of $per pound per articleYour damage claim was accepted and at this rate for the items listed for a total reimbursement of $168.00In order to resolve this issue I will offer you a total of $for the damages that occurred during your move. Please let me know if this is acceptable.Thank you, - Michael R***

I am rejecting this response because:
To begin, these are professional but courteous lies stated by STATE WIDE MOVING.  The statement about $.60 per pound regarding damages was NEVER verbally told to me and I wasn't asked to sign nor was I shown any paperwork untilafter the move. As many times over the phone speaking to Loren voicing my concerns about his company's experience moving a china cabinet of that magnitude, he kept saying how they are well experienced, they have an excellent rating with the Revdex.com since its inception and it wouldn't be a problem. They continue to ignore that the employee responsible for breaking the china cabinet was intoxicated and reeked of alcohol. When I questioned him about it. he said it was from last night.However. after the move I discovered an [redacted] Ice Tea can that was left behind that smelled of alcohol. Yes they took the cabinet doors to see if the glass guy they use could repair it and told me they would call me.  Well, weeks went by, no one called. After the second week, I called numerous times, always voicemail. Finally Loren returned my call informing their glass guy couldn't repair it.  He continued to say that he knew that it was going to cost much more than $150.00 because of the caliber of my dining room furniture. That was the first time I heard that figure.  It was at that time that I stated that I would research my area for repair because I'm 50 to 60 miles away.  Also I told him if I found someone I would submit the estimate via email.  He said verbatim "That will be fine." I inquired and amongst 3 to 4 companies submitted the lowest estimate which is $615.25.  After the submission, I didn't hear from the company for well over a week. What they're not telling you is that they made a conference call to me "All Men" trying to intimidate me and denounce my accusation of the intoxicated mover that broke the cabinet. They asked for proof of purchase which to their surprise I was able to provide.  Days later I received an email from Michael R, (I have never verbally spoken to him) offering the $500.00. I unsatisfyingly took it because during the conference call Loren was indirectly saying either take what they offer or get nothing.  Due to the fact that they were refusing to pay the full amount of $615.25, I decided to file with the Revdex.com. How dare they try to intimidate and bully a disabled senior citizen female.Let's think about this for a moment, you are willing to pay $500.00, but not $615.25.  Why is the difference of $115.25 such a big deal? They know this estimate was legitimate and could have verified it. My furniture was custom made in Italy and it is a large piece of glass from the door that was broken.STATE WIDE MOVING didn't try to resolve this matter in my favor.  If they were really sincere and wanted to resolve this in my favor, they would pay the remaining $115.25.  I mean really a company that is responsible and claim to be fair, decent, and in good standing, wouldn't make such an argument over $115.25.  Why should I have to pay out of my pocket for an intoxicated employee breaking my furniture?  This is so wrong.Once again I am requesting the balance of $115.25 from STATE WIDE MOVING in order to repair my china cabinet door that their intoxicated employee broke.

Complaint: [redacted]
I have forwarded you a quote of $3,500 to replace upstairs carpet. I think it is only fair to replace master bedroom 15x12 room. Total of 3 rooms was $3479. I would accept $1,000 to replace one room of carpet.
Regards,
[redacted]

[redacted]This is valuation is completely unacceptable considering these two factors;1) The carpet is not damaged beyond repair or ripped as you claim. The marks are from pressure and will raise/pop out with time and routine cleaning. In addition, these carpets are soiled and dated which can be clearly seen in the photos you provided. 2) While trying to reconcile this matter you stated in an email that you would accept $250 for the damages that occurred. Now after filing a complaint with the Revdex.com you want $1000.Nevertheless, in an attempt to do the right thing, our good faith offer of $200 will stand.I am sorry we could not reach an agreement.Best Regards, - Mike
