Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below Att: karinai am in total disagreement with [redacted] response due to the fact the he is incapable of being honest and truthfulhere are the facts:my car arrived late morning on friday july 24th after we received the car I was going over the car to check it out and found out that at that poing antenna was not working and trunk stuts were broken I immediately contacted [redacted] to advise him of the problem and he said he would talk to his boss *** then on saturday we attempted to take the hard top off to check out the soft top after we removed the hard top and engaged the button to put up the soft top half way up it malfunctioned and fluid was shooting out of one of the port holes on the drivers sidei contacted [redacted] told him about the top and he said it was working he claimed to have replaced an "o" and replaced two cylinderson monday july 27th took the car to g and g auto haus who is an authorized mercedes benz repair center to thoroughly check out the car..a list of all the repairs that had to be done were forwarded to you was told by mechanic the owner of the shop to send the car back and get your back as car needs thousands of dollars worth of repairs when I was in contact with [redacted] or [redacted] dont know which came first to advise what my mechanic had told me to send the car back and refund my money they in turn said they could not do that the total of repairs came to roughly $9,and that is listed on the repair estimatethere are also other issues that I did not bring up to themthe tow hook door to front bumper which is dollars plus paint and installation srs insignia inside car was missing did not say anything about that I did mention the tow hook door and they told me in was in the picture..I paid this out of my own pocket now getting back to convertible top the first estimate was $3,also got second estimate for $4,these prices were every expensive to take care of on my own spoke to [redacted] asked him what he was going to do for me his answer was "nothing" all he said is that he would try to locate parts for the convertible top upon searching the internet I located a company in bradenton florida the would repair all the cylinders for about $with a three year warranty and labor would cost me $ I texted [redacted] and asked him to send me $and he said then I lowered to a $1,to send me a check in that amount and I will call it even and his response was "not happening" at a rear instance when he did call me he told me he had cylinders and to send him a check for $his cylinders had a one year warranty and I still would have still had to pay for labor so I told him no thanks that I can get the work done for $included parts and labor so he ended up send me trunk struts and a check for $for the antenna and I still had to pay for the labor.getting back to [redacted] claiming I asked for $2,is a lie besides the car being years old and all the pictures that he send - not - pictures more like pictureswill the pictures tell me that the airconditioning doesnt blow out of the left and right vents and that the power mirror doesnt work on the drivers side and that vanity mirrors are broken no pictures of that and also no picture of front struts and engine and transmission mounts broken and steering shock absorber leaking, hood pad missing yes the car looks good from the outside but the inside is the most important pictures did not tell of all the mechanical faults certain issues should have been told to us by the salesman that the air conditioning was not working properly and that vanity mirrors were broken and antenna and trunk were also broken this all should have been told to us and that this car should have been scraped for junk how do they have the nerve to put on car like this online for top dollar - I feel I was scammed by these characters and they should be rated FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFi also have twenty five texts msgs from mr [redacted] and mr [redacted] confirming my side of the story trying to find out how to download them to send to youi feel that they should at least pay for the repair and parts for the convertible top as I already have p[ut in thousands of dollars complaint nbr [redacted] I will be fwding text msgs to you as soon as I find out how tried calling you today sept 11th and got voicemail stating that you were closed today and on monday and tuesday for training sincerely yours [redacted] - [redacted] *** Regards, [redacted]
