Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 7, 2015/08/18) */ Contact Name and Title: [redacted] Contact Phone: XXX-XXX-XXXX Contact Email: [redacted] @mchsi.com Thank you for giving us the opportunity to respond to the complaint filed in this matterAs per your instructions, the complainant's name will be redacted from this correspondenceThe customer states that she feels that her business was not valued by our firm, and feels that she was treated poorlyShe further states that she was called a "liar and a bad person," and was harassed by our firmI would like to take this opportunity to address the facts of the matter The complainant called the business on July 27, and asked if she could have a certificate printed outThe employee that spoke to her on the phone assumed that she only wanted to have a document printed out, without significant design time, and the customer was told that was possibleThe next day, the customer came into the storeShe advised the lady working at that time that she wanted a certificate createdOn this certificate, she wanted photographs resized, as well as a superman logo placed in the centerThis would amount to a significant amount of time to resize the photos, plus the use of a Superman logo is in direct violation of United States Copyright LawsThe employee tried to explain to the customer that the work involved would be significantThe customer stated that she would do the order herself, at homeOur employee told her that was fine Later that evening, the complainant posted a negative review of the business on FacebookAt that time, I attempted to explain to her why her order was not taken (time involved and copyright issues.) At that time, the complainant made multiple posts to FacebookI was unable to reach a mutually beneficial outcome with this consumer, as I did not feel that she was interested in any outcome other than to cause harm to the business through her possibly libelous online reviewShe in her posts stated that she took her business to Walgreen's that produced the order for "far less of her hard earned dollar" than our business chargesShe then changed that statement when questioned and said that price was never discussed with our staffShe then changed her story again by stating that our prices our "outlandish." She further mocked our employee's cancer diagnosis, and implied that the employee couldn't get her story straight because her illness precludes her judgementShe ended her assault on the business by stating that she would see us in court and then calling me a loser The complainant claims that she was called a liarIt was pointed out to her that her story had changed about the price of the order, but no name calling (other than by the complainant) ever occurredFurther, the complainant claims that she has been harassed by the business, but in fact, she has never been contacted by the businessShe and she alone, has initiated every contact that she has had with the businessWe have not contacted her via mail, text, or phone callI did initially respond to her review, but at this time feel that any attempt to reach a rational conclusion with the customer is not possibleI will not subject myself, or my employees to vitriolic abuseThe customer stated that she was going to tell everyone of our "poppycock service" and that each of those people would in turn tell twoI believe that the customer was unable to secure her order from any business entity and wants to make my business pay severely for her frustrationShe has gotten her wish, as I have had to respond to her mean spirited insults to Facebook as well as the Revdex.com Given that the complainant has never been interested in an equitable conclusion to this matter, I believe this matter to be closed Trusting this constitutes as a formal response and analysis to the matters currently at hand, I remain Very truly yours, [redacted] C [redacted]

name will be redacted from this correspondence. The customer states that she feels that her business was not valued by our firm, and feels that she was treated poorly. She further states that she was called a "liar and a bad person," and was harassed by our firm. I would like to take this opportunity to address the facts of the matter.
The complainant called the business on July 27, 2015 and asked if she could have a certificate printed out. The employee that spoke to her on the phone assumed that she only wanted to have a document printed out, without significant design time, and the customer was told that was possible. The next day, the customer came into the store. She advised the lady working at that time that she wanted a certificate created. On this certificate, she wanted 22 photographs resized, as well as a superman logo placed in the center. This would amount to a significant amount of time to resize the photos, plus the use of a Superman logo is in direct violation of United States Copyright Laws. The employee tried to explain to the customer that the work involved would be significant. The customer stated that she would do the order herself, at home. Our employee told her that was fine.

I did initially respond to her review, but at this time feel that any attempt to reach a rational conclusion with the customer is not possible.
