Initial Business Response / [redacted] (1000, 5, 2014/05/17) */ Contact Email: [redacted] This customer came in to our store and wanted to buy one of our mods ( [redacted] ) valued at $69.95. He was informed that this specific one is for more experienced vapers. He informed us that he... was ready for it and bought it. He came in the next day and said his tank was leaking. The tank was worth $6.95 and was replaced with one that was worth $9.95. Again, he came in the next day and was saying that the tank was leaking but also had a burnt taste to it. He was informed that he was using too high of a voltage/wattage setting. His tank was replaced again with a tank worth $24.95. Once again, he came in the following day saying the tank had a burnt taste. It was examined and he was told the voltage/wattage setting was too high. He was reminded that the mod ( [redacted] ) was not for inexperienced vapers and he should not have bought it if he wasn't ready for it. The tank was replaced with another worth $24.95. He was also told that this is the last time that there would be anything replaced since he did not listen to the warning about the voltage/wattage. The day after a female came in with this customer's mod. She said the whole mod was burned up. Upon examination it was figured out that the battery was inserted upside-down and that due to messing with the battery the coating had been stripped and it made contact with the sidewall. She was told there was nothing that could be done. In his complaint the customer says, "I had never taken the battery out that that was the way it was inserted when I had purchased it." This mod ( [redacted] ) does not come with the battery inserted, due to safety concerns, and was not inserted by anyone working for One Stop Vapor. Two days later someone came in needing a battery for a [redacted] mod. They purchased a battery but came back around an hour later. He brought the same mod that the original customer had bought. He said that the original customer was a friend of his and he had traded his mod for the [redacted] and was told that it only needed to have its battery replaced. This customer was refunded for the battery he bought while under the assumption that that was the only issue with the device. In all he was given $60.00 in free replacements, and was guided as to what was wrong. The battery was not inserted until it left the grounds of One Stop Vapor. He had been warned from the beginning that it is only for experienced vapers.
