Complaint Information: to w Consumer's Name: [redacted] hom it may concern m[redacted] and her husband came into one touch repair regarding a [redacted] one. They had accidently dropped it on the floor causing the fan to make noises. I told the couple diagnostics are free but if we can fix the issue on the spot we charge them labor fee of 60.00 + tax . The tech took apart the system and reset the fan that was out of place. He tested the system on our tv the noise stopped , the customers were there to witness the noise had stopped. when they got the system home they said the noise contined . I told them please bring the system back and what they paid toward the repair we use toward the cost of a new fan replacement plus a balance of 30.00. we told the customer upon ordering the fan it could take up to 2 weeks for the fan to come in. within the 2 weeks the customers kept calling in regards to the piece. I gave them a ETA they were not happy , they wanted there money back even though we don't offer cash refunds as per store policy. The customers currently have there [redacted] home with them its working beautifully . Sent on: 5/8/2017 5:38:19 PM

Review: On 10/8/15 I dropped off my VCR at One Touch Repair to have them fix a simple broken cable connector on it. By the way, they no longer are at the address listed on the Revdex.com records. They now are located at [redacted] here in [redacted], Ct. but they still have the same name & tel. number that you have in your records. They immediately billed me $86.72 IN ADVANCE, for the repair work that they said that they were going to do. They told me that they'd do the repair in "a couple of days." Weeks & weeks went by but I never heard from them. Starting with the first weeks of November I began calling them to find out what was going on. They told me many stories, the parts had to come from China, parts came from China but they were the wrong parts, they were working on it, etc. etc. Day after day I'd call just to get some kind of a runaround. Once on 11/18/15 they even told me that my VCR was "fixed" & that I could come down & pick it up. Unfortunately, when I went down to pick it up that morning, they told me that the call they made me was in error & that they were still working on it, I should come back later. When I called later they told me it still wasn't fixed. A few more days went by, day after day I begged them to fix it & get back to me. Remember, I HAD ALREADY PAID THEM WEEKS BEFORE! Finally, on 11/21/15 they called my house & told my wife that it was "fixed" & that I could come down & pick it up. I went down that afternoon to retrieve it & when I did I noticed that the broken cable connector that they were supposed to be fixing still felt a little loose. They told me that it "would be alright." That afternoon when I tried to hook the VCR back up the cable connector fell off in my hand. I could see that it HAD NEVER BEEN SOLDERED, it hadn't even been GLUED WELL back into the back of the VCR! It was JUST AS BROKEN as it was when I had given it to them. Maybe a tiny piece of [redacted] glue had been applied but no electrical connections had been re-established & no repairs whatsoever had been made. I want nothing more to do with these story-telling, crooked people. I don't think that they could repair a broken teacup! As it's been six weeks since they charged my credit card for the so-called "repair" any hope of me ever getting my money back is, I'm sure, long gone. I feel that I have no choice but to report them so as to warn others!!

Review: DEC 22, 2015, paid 106.34 for an iphone 5 screen and repair. Was told the repair would be done within 1 day. Waited until Dec 30, screen not in, repair not performed. I asked for my phone back and my money which I paid. the employee had said that there were no refunds. There are no signs posted in the store, and , no refunds are not specified on my receipt. After trying to resolve this matter with the owner, I turn to the Revdex.com first.Desired Settlement: I ask for my money back, how is it fair practice to take peoples money for not providing a service?

Review: my complaint is towards( one touch repair ). On friday 09/18/2015 I canceled an order that I made with mr.eddie . It was for a cell phone I feel he gave me the run around with the order, So I canceled the order I requested my money to be put back on my bank account Eddie advised me he just did it on 09/18/2015 he also advised me it would take 2-3 buisness days . 3rd buisness would have been on wednesday 09/23/2015. I called my bank and no refund was made . I called One touch repair on wednesday 09/23/2015 and talked to an employee of his by the name of john. john advised me that he would look into it advised me he would call me back in 25 mins, which he did not do! I called him back at 7 pm to see what was going on. john advised me that he was sorry he forgot about me and what I called for . So I had to remind john what the phone call was about . John advised me it was to late and that he would call the bank in the morning of 09/24/2015 and to call back in the morning . Called in the morning of 09/24/2015 called I was told that my money be rufunded again wait 2-3 days . I was told it was not there fault it was minds. I feel they have no good customer service and this company needs to treat customers better and not give them the run around when it comes to refund back. i'm very upset this has happened to me want to make sure it doesn't happen to no one else.Desired Settlement: I was told it was not there fault it was minds. They should be given a warning for this so they see that they should not be playing around with people's money.

Review: In August 2014 I brought a 2 month old [redacted] to have its screen replaces due to a cracked screen. I paid $150 up front as requested. I informed the owner( [redacted]) I would be moving to [redacted] on Sept. 4th. I was told it would be done in one week by the Owner [redacted]. I either called or stopped in each week till I left. The store manager told me one excuse after another. I asked for it to be returned along with a refund since I was leaving. The store Manager told me my tablet wasn't "in house" so my request was not possible. [redacted] (store manager) assured me in writing that they would pay the cost to ship it to me in [redacted]. They did not send it. They actually played games with me saying they shipped it but refused to give me a tracking number.

In late January my oldest daughter went to the store to see what was going on. They gave the tablet to her in a sealed box. She stored it at her home. I returned for a visit in early March 2015. I opened the package and removed it from the box and noticed the plastic frame was cracked by the charging portal. The opposite side had an area that was obviously melted. I returned the tablet to the store and [redacted] agreed with my finding. He offered an explanation on the melted section. It came from a tool they used to pry off the old screen. [redacted] assured me they company would replace the unit since it came out worst then it was going in. I explained to [redacted] that I would be leaving the states in 1 month. I've made several phone calls and left messages without any of the being returned. I stopped in on 4/1/15 and [redacted] confessed the owner had no intention of replacing the unit. In fact he planned on leading me on till I left for [redacted]. I told him to return my tablet immediately. [redacted] referred me to the competition.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund of $150.

Review: December 4, 2014 I brought my cell phone to One Touch Repair so they could replace hardware so the phone could be used with my existing cell phone service. I was told by the supposed owner '[redacted]' that the phone would be ready in three days. I called three days later to see if the phone was ready and an employee had no idea where my phone was or what it was there for. After a few minutes I was told the phone would be ready in 4 days. After 5 days I called and was told they 'ordered' the wrong part for the phone and it would be ready by the next week. The next week I stopped in the store and was told they had the part but something went wrong with the software and the alleged owner [redacted] told me he was just going to replace it with a brand new phone but he needed a few days. A week later I could not get [redacted] on the phone and when I went to the store his employees where extremely rude and behaved like charlatans. One month later I still didn't have my phone repaired or the brand new phone I was promised by '[redacted]'. I was finally able to get a hold of the elusive [redacted] and I told him to forget the repair and that I wanted my phone back and a refund for services not rendered. I was told to go to the store and an employee would return my phone and issue a refund. When I received the phone the screen was greasy and scratched in 4 separate places. There was also damage to the case. On top of that the employee said he wasn't 'Authorized' to issue a refund and refused to get the 'manager/owner' [redacted] on the phone. Once again I left without my phone and without a refund. I contacted [redacted] via text message and told him what occurred and to call me but he refused saying he was too busy.. One day later I returned to get my 'Damaged phone in a state of disrepair and ask for my refund once again. I was given my phone and issued a refund back to my debit card minus $14.00 tax that I had been charged. I have no idea why they did not refund the tax I had paid. I took home my phone and refund receipt and waited for the funds to be returned to my bank account. One week later on January 20, 2015 I contacted the Elusive [redacted] via text and told him the funds where still not back in my account. I called him but he would not answer his phone. I texted him and told him to call me but he refused. He texted me back and said he would check with the bank and he would get back to me in 3 days. Having dealt with several of his 3 day solutions for the past month I told him via text that I wanted my $239.29 refunded expeditiously so I could cut all ties with him and his terrible business. I also informed the elusive [redacted] that I was going to file a formal complaint with the Revdex.com and file a police report. I received a nasty text from the elusive [redacted] telling me he wasn't going to refund my money and a few other nasty comments. I went on the next day to file a claim with my bank and they initiated an investigation. Today is March 3, 2015 and my account was finally credited $225.00 by my bank as they continue to investgate. The Elusive [redacted], alleged owner of 'One touch repair LLC. can keep the $14.25 tax money he stole from me. He can settle that issue with the Internal revenue service.

This nightmare is finally over after 3 months. Good riddance.
