dealer.  If the issue had been present when the chassis left the custody and control of Freightliner Custom Chassis Corp. (“FCCC”), it would have been immediately noticeable to the driver.   The customer has the responsibility to monitor and maintain proper alignment over the life of the vehicle. Notwithstanding the lack of warranty coverage, FCCC is willing to compromise here in the interest of promoting goodwill and customer relations.  FCCC will settle this claim for $1,582.71 in exchange for a full release from the customer.  If this is acceptable, I will draft the release.   Please advise.   Todd M.
