Review: I have called this business over 16 times in the past two months with no return phone call or reply.I have phone records to prove it. They have charged my debit card three times without my authorization, and caused me to overdraft my account. I called when the first charge was made and spoke to a "[redacted]" and she said it would never happen again and my information was taken out of their books. So then it happened again, and then once more. Not even when my bill was due. And I still NEVER authorized the charge. And also, I would stop putting my trash to the road so that they would call me and ask why, so I could speak to someone. And the gentlemen who pick up the trash got my trash can from beside my house! It wasn't even roadside when they picked it up!!! So I called back again and left several messages and got no reply. Called back again this month and finally got a human on the phone and "[redacted]" said he had no physical address of his business, and that they didn't have one!? So I could not physically speak to someone. He also said there was no manager, and no phone number to get in touch with one. He could only provide me with a fax number to some place in NC. ???? I explained to him how I have been trying to contact them and how my account has been charged. He made no effort to fix the situation but said he would fax my phone number to someone in NC who could help me. I still have had no response back from the company, and feel I never will. I have had to change bank accounts because of this and are still owed Money.He was extremely rude and not understanding. He had no answers for my questions and continued to lie to me. I am extremely upset and will NEVER use this company again.Desired Settlement: I am requesting a refund for the amount charged to my card for the past two times they have charged me for the trouble this has been and for services I didn't even ask for,and I want them to come get their trash can so I can get another service elsewhere. It is extremely hard to contact them. I'm sure someone else has had this problem as well.

Review: On October 18 I paid Oneal Sanitation $48 for 3 months of trash pick-up at my residence for November - January. At the end of December, after a number of calls to them, I still had not had my trash picked up for two straight weeks. On January 2 I called to cancel the service (since I was not getting it anyway) and asked for a refund of $16 for the month of January. I was told there was NO REFUNDS for any reason.Desired Settlement: I only want a refund of $16 for the month of January for the service that was cancelled since they never picked up my trash.

Review: We used Oneal sanitation for waste collection services while we lived in South Carolina. We were put on a quarterly billing cycle and the third quarter, sometime in August I believe, we paid our bill through the end of the year. In early September I contacted Oneal and let them know that we would be moving on the 11th of September and that the 18th would need to be our last pick up and that their containers could be picked up at that point. I also gave them a forwarding address to send a refund to, as there were two out of the three months we paid for being unused. I never heard from them. After returning home I contacted them again, by phone, to find out why I hadn't ever heard anything and to find out when I would be getting my refund for unused services. The woman I spoke with sad, "The owners don't give refunds". I explained to her that I had paid for three months, only used two, and that never once was it ever explained, or implied, or written, that unused services mean I am not due my refund. In my opinion, this is stealing. Had I known that paying three months in advanced would have left me GIVING a company money, I wouldn't have paid the full quarterly bill, I would have paid for the month we used. I was also told by this same woman that I would receive a call from someone, possibly an owner, to discuss my refund, but I never received any call. At the time that I canceled the service, I was asked for, and left, a forwarding address.Desired Settlement: I would like the unused services that we paid for refunded immediately. We paid in August to cover us through the end of the year, but we moved September 11th. I spoke with someone over the phone and indicated September 18th would be the last pick up day under our billing name and to take their containers with them. I am expecting a refund from September 18th through the end of the year, that we paid for.

Review: Oneal sanitation is refusing to pick up my trash. This service is prepaid. When I request to speak to someone higher up they say the passed it on but refuse to give me a number so I can call and no one from the main office ever calls. This is extremely frustrating as a consumerDesired Settlement: I wish some one would call me and explain what is going on. A refund is definately in order

Review: My trash is overflowing at my home. I called Oneal for service and paid the $48.00 for 3 months service and they assured me on Thursday November 28th that they would be by Monday and make my trash "disappear". Well I have called them every day and am told that someone will be out to get my trash and it has been a week today and I am totally fed up with Oneal.Desired Settlement: I want them to understand that I work and I have no one else to help me with the trash. I need their service or I would not have called them.

Review: In December 2014 I pre-paid for service from February to April 2015. When I found out I would be moving in January, I called ONeal to select my service end date and also mentioned I would need to be refunded the $56 I paid for service through April. [redacted] assured me he would let their billing department know to refund me, although he said he wouldn't need my forwarding address. Strange. When ONeal did not collect at the next pickup (which was scheduled to be the last), I called and spoke to [redacted] again, who said they had seen a neighbor roll their trash can in front of my house and since the neighbor's account was delinquent, they refused to pick up. After multiple phone calls with [redacted], and his attitude becoming increasingly hostile, I had had enough. I had paid for service, was not refunded, and here the company was still not picking up the trash that was in front of my house - regardless of who it belonged to. At the time, I was 8 months pregnant and had trash sitting in front of my vacant house for THREE weeks; animals had rummaged through it, it had been rained on, and had countless critters and bugs all in it. I finally called ONeal again - only to speak to [redacted] AGAIN (he refused to put me through to a supervisor or the owner or anyone else) who actually suggested that I pick everything up myself and drive it to my local church and dump it there! This absolutely infuriated me because not only is it a health concern for me at 8 months pregnant to be handling trash that had been sitting out and had animals going through it, but it was also a safety concern because the house looked obviously vacant and was still in my name. I told [redacted] it was ridiculous that I should have to handle any of the trash since we had always paid on time, and since they hadn't refunded me a dime of my money, then I should still have service through April! He hung up on me. I immediately tried calling back thinking it may have been a poor connection and after ringing several times it went to a voicemail. It has been nearly two months since then and I as well as my husband have called and left multiple messages and never had our calls returned. I had to pay a separate company for a one-time collection (it cost nearly as much as 3 months of service through ONeal). AND we still haven't received our $56 back that we were promised. I have never been so disrespected or mistreated by a company before.Desired Settlement: I feel like I deserve an apology for the way [redacted] spoke to me along with a full refund of the $56 we paid for service they did not provide.

Review: I called to make a payment,I believe it was feb. 20th.I left a voicemail saying "hi this is [redacted],im calling to make a payment.call me back at [redacted]" I never got a call back and then on feb. 23th I checked my bank account and noticed that oneal sanitation had charged my debt card $63.I never gave them account info on how I was making my payment.I am not set up on autodraft and I have never gave them permission to save any of my card info for future payments.so I called them and asked who withdrew from my account,and who gave them permission?the man that answered said he didnt know and would "send a message to the office and then they would get back in touch with me" I didnt get a call back that day,and I waited till about lunch the next day. no reply.so I called back ,and the man told me the same thing.he would send another message to the office and they would get back with me.9business days later(march 9) and still no answer,so I called back.the man told me the same thing again.STILL no reply so I called them back that following friday(march 13) and let the man know that if I didnt get a call back that day I was reporting them to the Revdex.com.I told them that what they did was illegal and wrong.and the carelessness that they had about the whole situation was disturbing.all I got was ok ma'am I will let them know.Desired Settlement: An explanation of how they had my account information.who gave them the right to choose how I was making my payment.why didnt they call me back. Why didnt they send a receipt or verification number. I want their customers and future customers know that they will brake the law and charge you without their permission and do absolutely nothing to take care of you or the situation.they are thiefs and they should be definitely looked into closer.I honestly feel that im not the only one theyve done this to.and there is no telling what other illegal business decisions they are making.

Review: I have ended my service with O'Neal as of 31 December 2013. I have called numerous times since this date to get them to come and pick up their trash bin. When I was able to speak to a [redacted] there, he assured me each time that they were coming to get this can either that day or the next. The can is still sitting at the end of the driveway.The service with this company used to be good, however since Thanksgiving of last year, they had missed pickups almost every week, necessitating a call each week to get the trash removed.Desired Settlement: I want them to come and remove their bin from our driveway!

Review: There have been several during the term of our contract with O'Neals sanitation they did not pick up our trash. On feb. 19th they failed to pick up the trash, as well as February 26th. My husband attempted to call and left a couple of messages on their voicemail. The owner called on March 2nd and was cursing at my husband. My husband, [redacted], told them if this was the way they do service he could come pick up his trash can. Upon leaving our home on March 3rd, we found two weeks worth of trash dumped by our road and the can had been picked up.Desired Settlement: Pick up the trash by the side of our road and driveway.

Review: Started service with them as of 1/12/2015. No p/u for 1/12 nor 1/19. Called 1/20 to advise no p/u and if not picked up will cancel service. Had p/u on 1/26/15 at 6:30 p.m. Had p/I 2/2/15. No p/u on 2/16/15 as of ice on road. No p/u on 2/23/15. Called 2/23/15 at 7:10 p.m. , spoke to [redacted] and advised that wanted to cancel service as not working out and refund for 2 months worth of service. Called 3/2/15 about p/u of their can. Was to be put on list for that to be picked up. Called 3/16/15 about can not being picked up and advised that it had been 2 weeks sitting out in from of my house. 3/17/15 [redacted]e called me back and was to be removed from front of house by Fri. of that week. Also questioned about my refund. If I did not received by weekend give him a call back. Called 3/23/15 and spoke to [redacted] about can in front of house and refund. Can was removed from home 3/23/15. Refund he would have to check with the office and call me back. 4/2/15 called [redacted] again and advised no refund received. Claimed had to check with office and call me back. Called 4/27/15 and left message at 8 a.m. that had not received my refund. Had been patient with this matter, did not feel I needed to make any more calls. Wanted someone to call me back and advise when check was to be sent to me. Still waiting for call back as of 5/5/15.Desired Settlement: Want $32.00 for 2 months worth of service that I did not get due to cancelling my service as of 2/23/15. The agreement was to have the month of Jan as free for signing up with Oneal and then $48.00 for the months of Feb, March and April. Really they should refund the full amount of $48.00 for all the calls and missed pick up of garbage service that took place.

Review: We pay for residential weekly trash pick-up service 3 months in advance and we do not get regular trash pick-up. We continually have to call to ask why our trash was not picked up on the designated day. Usually, you only get voicemail, but if someone happens to pick up the phone, they assure us that someone will be out--sometimes they come and sometimes they don't that week. My trash has been sitting at the curb since New Year's day and still hasn't been picked up, so now I have two weeks of trash sitting out there. Not only is it inconvenient to have your trash can completely full, but it is an eyesore for the neighborhood and is unsanitary. I also pay extra for a "yard waste only container" and it just gets dumped in the same truck/hopper as the household trash--a complete rip-off.Desired Settlement: I would like to cancel my service for a full refund for the prepaid months of service--through March 2014.

Review: Oneal Sanitation discriminates against the elderly and handicapped. After nearly 40 years (1974 - 11/6/13) they decided it was to dangerous to continue pick up service due to traffic at my location. Request for remainder of annual payment went unanswered.Desired Settlement: Refund of annual payment for remainder of 2013.

Review: I have been a satisfied customer of Oneal Sanitation for approximately six years. On November 9, 2013 the wheel to my garbage can fell off after it was placed by the road the night before. When I rolled the trash can to the road it was fine and the next day when I went to return it the wheel was laying beside the can. Over the next few weeks I called several times speaking with [redacted] about getting it repaired. After telling him that I was going to cancel service he assured me that someone would come to fix the can. Around 5:30 on Saturday December 7, 2013 I saw the tuck at the end of my driveway fixing the can. Once the can was repaired a man who said he was the owner of the business proceeded to knock on my door to tell me the things that we had done wrong to damage his trash can. "My guys tell me that your can is always overloaded, you're putting construction materials in the can, and you need to clean the can it's dirty." What this gentleman was seeing was cat litter that had spilled in the can and I assume he thought it was sawdust. Prior to this I had never heard from anyone at his company that we were overloading the trash can or that it needed to be cleaned to a certain standard. At this point I knew I did not want to be a customer of Oneal sanitation anymore and "the owner" removed the can from my yard. Since then I have called 2-3 times a week asking for my refund since we pay 3 months in advance. [redacted] keeps assuring me that "someone will call you shortly". I have yet to hear anything about my refund. When the can broke by the road I picked up the axle and put it in my garage. I have told [redacted] several times that I will return his axle however he would like. This is not the way customers of any business should be treated and I hope that we can come to a resolution.Desired Settlement: Refund the 3 months of service we paid for that is not going to be used for December-February.
