O'Neill Fence

Review: We used O'Neill Fence Co in 2012 to put up a new fence around our property. We purchased the upgraded pretreated wood that was supposed to be fairly maintenance free. We had a 10' double door gate on one side of our home and a 5' door on the other side. The install of the fence seemed fairly flawless, however within a week or two the boards began to warp. We repeatedly called O'Neill Fence company to have them replace the warping boards. They continued to warp and after 6 months O'Neill fence company stopped responding to me. In addition our gate doors began bending (the metal hinges). When I called to have them repaired I was told that the wind was the culprit and they placed another metal pole into the ground of the 10' gate. Now the gates are both a complete mess, the metal hinges are bent and the doors do not line up. The 10' gate was placed over an existing path however they flipped the door openings of the gate so that you have to walk around the gate door with the path when entering the back yard - completely backwards. The upgraded maintenance free wood has completely dried out, turned grey, warped and it is an eyesore. When I called again to have someone please come and look at the fence and work with us, Pat referred me to his father - John. John left me one voicemail informing me that we had "Misused" the gates and that is why they were messed up. We barely open the gate doors except once weekly to mow. I returned John's call and left multiple voicemails without a response once again. I have tried for months to get them to return my call and to work with me on the fence however they have not returned any calls, texts, etc.. This is the worst customer service and product I have ever had the misfortune of spending significant money on.Desired Settlement: I would appreciate both gates being completely repaired/replaced with functioning, non-bent hinges. I would like the gate to open properly over the existing path and I would like any warped boards to be replaced. The wood is dried out and cracking, I would like a refund of the premium price we paid for the "maintenance free" pre-treated wood as it seems clear we received regular, non treated wood. We will need to stain the fence every year like any other non-treated wood product to keep the fence from completely splitting apart.
