The company gouges low income customers with late fees. For a customer with a bill for $14.00, the fee for being 2 days late is $15.00. That is more than the bill. Their explanation was that we charge all customers the same fee. That is not fair. A person with a studio apartment with very little consumption should not have the same fees as a 5,000 sq/ft house with a $200 bill. They can do better.
