Two garages I consulted at the time described the so-called storage fee as "outrageous." Indeed it was*** is a partly abandoned farming town with no other businesses that I sawParking is not at a premiumThe general sentiment I heard from the garages was, it's amazing what these people can get away with. Of course I turned out to be right that the car was worth far more than the towing charge of $which the business offered, but I resented any storage fee for a parking space as well as the consistent rudeness towards an already upset customerI was such a wreck bythe time I paid this bill on August 3, I could not even work up the nerve to mention that the absurd storage fees had been charged for an extra day. I'd just like Revdex.com to know that life is better if you can avoid businesses such as Oney's

To Whom It May Concern:Ms*** *** *** was towed into Oneys Garage due to a motor vehicle accident.On July 30, Ms*** came to the shop on July 31, at which time we explained that the vehicle was not repairable due to extensive damageShe explained that she did
not have collision coverageAt that time We offered the option of taking the title in exchange for the tow charge to dispose of the vehicle at the *** ***Ms*** felt the vehicle was worth more value.So at this time I explained that we could move the vehicle to her home and that she could dispose of the vehicle anyway she wished for an additional tow charge and it was advised that she notify us as soon as possibleAs storage fees where per dayMs*** called me later that day to inform me that she had parted the vehicle to *** *** *** ** (A salvage yard) and they would be picking up the vehicle on Monthe 3rdof August and I advised her of what the total would be for towing and storageUp to that dateAnd that the bill would need to be paid before the salvage CocameIt is unfortunate Ms*** feels she does not need to pay her bill but, as I have previously explained but, she was given several different options and these charges accrued due to her own decisionI have enclosed original tow bill and, cc billIf I can be of any further assistance please contact me at the phone number listed on letterhead.RespectfullySignature
