Issue History / timeline:The customer (*** ***), placed an order on our website on 11/28/16.We were extremely busy, understaffed and low on inventory (all great excuses - but no excuse at all).We did fail to contact the customer about the delay on her order in a timely matter, not until
12/13/When we sent this email:Hi ***,Thank you for your recent *** order and our apologies for the lengthy delay in correspondenceOur customer service team is extremely busy with holiday orders and having trouble keeping up with contacts. We're sorry we weren't able to notify you about your order more promptly.We are currently out of stock in the Fischer XJ Sprint junior boots and Sprint Crown junior skis for your orderHowever, they are on order from the company and we're expecting to see them here at our warehouse late this weekIf this order is a holiday gift, we can expedite the order to you at no charge so that it arrives to you by next Friday, December 23.If we don't hear back from you, we will place your order on hold and ship complete when the out of stock items arrivePlease let us know if you do need the order expedited, or if you would prefer to cancel.Your order is of course locked into the current sale pricing and we do notify you via email the day the order ships. Your patience is greatly appreciated. I was worried that I had given my credit card information out online to be used illegitimately The skis are a Christmas gift and if possible, I would really appreciate the expedited shipping.My concern for my credit identity and that of others also led me to file a complaint with the Revdex.com.
