Online City Tickets charged $per ticket plus a $electronic ticket fee for the two tickets I ordered ($each)These fees for their "service" are outrageous and not competitive with other online ticket providersFor my $in tickets, I was charged $in service fees I understand they need to be compensated for the service and market they provide, but 38% is outrageous, especially since everything was automatedCredit card companies generally charge 1-3% service feesOther online ticket service providers (***, [redacted] , [redacted] , or [redacted] ) generally either have $flat fee per ticket or add 5-10% I will actively discourage everyone I know from using this company and service

I ordered my tickets from this company October 26, and received October 27, Printed off Seats exactly what I asked for and all went smooth Cannot say anything negative about my experience This is the first time using this site and very impressed I've read a few reviews that made me nervous but I did not encounter any problems whatsoever

This was super easyThe screens were uncluttered so there was no confusion about what you were choosing

Thank you for reaching out to us regarding the concerns of our valued customer, Mr [redacted] We appreciate the opportunity to address his concernsIt should be noted that Online City Tickets is an online resale marketplace, which means we do not own or generate tickets—instead, we merely facilitate transactions between ticket buyers and ticket sellers.Mr [redacted] has indicated that he believed he was purchasing directly from the official venueHowever, directly on the homepage Mr [redacted] visited we state, “We are a resale marketplace, not a box office or venueTicket prices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by [redacted] Event Center.” When Mr [redacted] selected the event he was interested in, [redacted] on 3/8/2017, he navigated to the ticket listing pageThe top of every ticket listing page clearly notifies customers that, “We are a resale marketplacePrices may exceed face valueThis site is not owned by any venue.” This fact is also reiterated on the checkout page.In regards to the delivery of Mr [redacted] ’s tickets, we would like to provide clarificationWhen Mr [redacted] selected the ticket listing he was interested in, it clearly noted “Email delivery by: 3/7/2017.” Due to the nature of our business as a secondary marketplace, Online City Tickets does not own or generate any tickets and therefore does not set or control delivery dateRather, the estimated In-Hand Date is set by the individual seller of the tickets and is often dependent upon the primary issuer of the tickets, with which Online City Tickets has no affiliationThis information was clearly presented to Mr [redacted] on the ticket listing and highlighted in red text on the checkout page before he submitted his order Additionally, these details were clarified in an email Mr [redacted] received minutes after placing his order.Though Mr [redacted] has indicated that he has attempted to contact us, the only communication we have received from him is an email on 3/2/Nevertheless, we have routed Mr [redacted] ’s order to be directed to a customer care manager should he have any additional concernsAt this time, Mr [redacted] can anticipate the delivery of his tickets on or before 3/7/to the Hotmail email address he entered at the time of purchaseIf Mr [redacted] wishes to discuss his order further, we encourage him to contact us.Regards,Online City Tickets

I do believe that this complaint is, in essence, resolvedAs I had mentioned in my original complaint, I did acknowledge the differences between face value and actual price of tickets and I did agree to that upon purchaseHowever, I do believe that it should become policy to issue refunds when there is a significant difference between face value and the price actually paid regardless of statements put on the siteThat said, I acknowledge that Online City Tickets is not providing this service and I accept their decision regarding the matter
