To whom it may concern: Mr*** paid the estimated patient portion for his dental treatment in July **using *** *** Financing for which he applied and was approved for $453.**. On January 25, **18 his dental insurance company paid the insurance portion of the estimate for his treatment and that payment created a $**.** credit. On January 26, **18, a $**.** credit was refunded to *** *** Finance. (See the attached financial documents and account ledger for detail).It is unfortunate if Mr*** has not been able to make the monthly payments to *** *** as agreed in his financing with them; however he will have to work out a solution with *** *** directly. *** *** is a third party finance company and has no direct internal affiliation with Aspen Dental. We will have no further response to this complaint. I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
I find it very unprofessional that you are pushing blame on the Financing company that Aspen dental pushes on its customers. People come to you in pain and in need of help, I was not in the correct frame of mind to sign any contract . I went to Aspen seeking medical attention not a dental credit card. My credit score has plummeted from good to below average because I was unable to make monthly payments from my bank account. I was able to pay with a credit card (which the financing company would not accept.) As soon as I realized what had happened I tried to cancel and have funds returned and pay Aspen dental directly , which was refused. They do not care about people, only the money and kick backs they get from pushing this [redacted] financing on patients that are in need of help.

On January 25, **18, Aspen Dental received payment from your dental insurance for the services you received on July 10, **17. Upon posting that payment along with the participating provider discounts, your Aspen Dental account now reflects a credit balance of $**.**. That credit is being refunded to the [redacted] Finance account that you used in July **17 to make your out of pocket payment with.
