I am a print reseller and I rely on vendors, like Online Labels, to get quality products at an economical cost. You can get low end labels which will work perfectly well for a specific job where "average" is acceptable. But if you want a higher grade paper, for a job that requires the quality to be higher, than you need to know what your options are. Online Labels offers excellent customer support. Let them know what you'll be using the labels for and have them recommend the paper stock. If you're still not sure, ask for samples. In many cases, the samples are free and you pay for the shipping! Word of advise, be sure to purchase paper that is compatible with your printer (ink jet and toner).

Online Lables is selling faulty products,employing false advertising and refusing to offer 100% refunds when their products do not meet expectations.
On January 24, 2018, I placed an order for "Aggressive" white matte labels to use on my lip balm containers. I recently had to use these labels and the "aggressive" amount of adhesion was grossly inaccurate and falsely advertised. The labels came off all by themselves, embarrassing me in front of customers. I called today (4/30/2018) and spoke to a very rude individual who basically called me a liar during the entire phone call.
They refused to give me a full refund. I am considering a lawsuit for all of the potential earnings I have lost from this horrible product.

Desired Outcome

A full refund, in the amount of $27.90.

I apologize for the poor service that you received. I have spoken with our customer service supervisor (Jessi D.) and made her aware of the concern. We checked into the call logs and it appears you spoke with Ryan L. in customer service. He is one of our newer representatives and, based on your feedback, it sounds like he poorly handled your situation. I have asked our customer service manager and customer service supervisor to speak with him so this type of response doesn't happen to customers in the future.

We have gone ahead and issued a full credit in the amount of $27.90 to your credit card. In addition, I have cancelled the call tag (it is not necessary for you to send the product back)and I have asked our customer service supervisor to reach out to you to see what we can do to help further rectify the situation. I am sorry that our product possibly hurt your product's image. There are variety of lip balm tube types on the market and we obviously never know exactly how a product is going to perform as nearly ever situation is unique. We are happy to work with you to try to find something that will better suit your needs. Our customer service manager, Matt J, reached out to Michael B today and went over the cause of the issue. Michael B purchased printed labels from us and submitted the artwork to us. He created the design using our Maestro Label Designer software and it included a triangular object in the design. We printed the artwork as it was provided to us (and approved by him). Ultimately, he wasn't happy with the triangular design that he had created once he saw it on the printed label. Our customer service manager worked with him today (2/12/2018) and they agreed on a resolution that Michael B was happy with.

The labels are usually great, and typically the customer service is at least average to slightly better than average. But... today, with no warning, and no request for updated paperwork, they tried to charge me sales tax on product being purchased for resale.

Now, they are making ME wait while their email system is delaying the email that I immediately sent with the updated tax information.

The customer service rep was aloof and didn't seem to care at all.

Again... this is not how the company normally operates, but today, they really dropped the ball.

Despite this incident, I still DO recommend this business.

We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. I will definitely look into our process in this area. We do require a non-expired certificate of resale or tax exempt certificates on any account to not charge sales tax at the time the order is entered/processed. Our policy is based on the fact that we had situations in the past where we had customers tell us they were going to send the certificate and then never provided it. We then were required to remit tax on an order in which we were not able to collect the tax. Based on that, we changed our policy so that we always need a copy of a non-expired certificate on file (usually provided to us by email or fax) at the time is entered. We normally apply any certificate we receive to an account immediately upon receipt of the certificate so I'm not sure why there was any delay in that process. Also, the customer service representative should have let you know that we always offer the option to charge the tax and then credit the tax when the certificate is received. Once again, I'm sorry to hear that you were not happy with your experience. Thank you for continuing to recommend us. We appreciate your business.
