Online Local Yellowpages

Review: A telemarketer keeps calling (about 4 times now!) from a fraudulent business (Local Online Yellow Pages) trying to confirm our Company Name, address, and phone number for a "Free Listing" and ultimately make me order something I don't want. Each time I tell him/her that I am not interested, but they keep pushing and claiming that it is a free service. [redacted] it's different every time!) asks me to verify my company's location, phone number, and then my name. When I tell them I don't want to disclose my name, they make up stories - Like the Owner told them that I had to disclose my name, etc. - and keep trying to pull information out of me. I have asked them several times to take us off their calling list but am unsuccessful. No reputable business conducts themselves in that way and I have done enough research online to know that we are not the only business to be targeted by this scam. Apparently, they like to record your conversation and edit it so that it sounds like you are agreeing to purchase their service (although they claim that it is free!) and then send you an invoice hoping that you will pay the bill. They don't mention any kind of bill during your phone conversation.Desired Settlement: Since I have not received any request for payment as of yet, I wanted the Revdex.com to be aware of the situation in case something arises in the future. Let me be clear: I have never indicated to this business that I wanted to purchase or be a part of any service they offer. I have told them to not call and to leave us alone. For our sake, and for other unsespecting businesses, please do what you can to prevent this company from targeting anyone else. We are not interested in their "service."
