Review: We don't like their weekly advertising tactics on radio broacasts each weekend. Over the past few months they would always offer a free recorded item, but would never follow through. Last month they claimed they would give away 30 free audio CD's and this month they would be giving away 50 free Dvd's each time with different titles. After calling their toll-free number each time they would take down your personal information but wouldn't follow through with sending free item. To get the item each time you either had to attend a 1 day 3 hour class either in Madison or Their Germantown WI locations. I did get a free flash drive one time which I was able to run with assistance at the public library. This included 3-4 short videos but not the titles they always advertised.Desired Settlement: When they did get back to me they said they only sent the same identical items to everyone who contacted them. Eventually a contact person from their left messages from there on our answering machine. They didn't like us calling on their toll-free order lines with complaints. They shouldn't use these tactics to get people to call back right away.

Response:

Thank you reaching out to learn our

perspective regarding the complaint from Mr. [redacted]

According to our notes in his file Mr. [redacted] began

calling our Academy in February 2012 with a request to receive a DVD after

listening to a radio. The DVDs were then mailed out and a follow up phone call

was placed to Mr. [redacted].

Glenn continued to call in on a regular basis. However the

phone number provided for a follow up call was often a different non-working

phone number.

Several emails in Q4 of 2012 were sent to Mr. [redacted]

requesting either a valid phone number, or a return call to our Academy during

regular business hours Monday through Friday with the intention of finding a

solution that would satisfy Mr. [redacted]’s wishes.

According to our notes it does not appear Mr. [redacted] ever

responded to our email attempts and never responded with a return phone call.

In October of 2012 we provided Mr. [redacted] a guest

membership to our website so he could access several on-line classes, our

financial education center, years of archived newsletters, and a daily

web-based tv show called Power Trading Radio. Mr. [redacted] was notified by

email he was granted such access and was provided with a user name, password,

and instructions; along with the invitation to call our Academy during regular

business hours Monday through Friday if he needed any assistance.

Again there was no response other than weekend calls as a

response to another radio show.

Mr. [redacted] continued this pattern throughout 2012 and

2013. In 2013 more DVDs were mailed out along with a USB drive. It appears

there was a conversation in April of 2013 with Mr. [redacted] as the notes

indicate he does not have a car.

In July of 2013 another attempt was made to create a new

guest membership on our website so Mr. [redacted] could enjoy the content

available on our website.

Towards the end of 2013 more attempts to reach Mr. [redacted]

were made by phone as he continued to call in after radio shows. Up to this

point Online Trading Academy had mailed Mr. [redacted] DVDs on multiple

occasions, a USB drive containing classes, created multiple accounts on our

website providing content in the form of online classes, newsletters, daily

web-based TV program, and recorded webinars. If there was any dissatisfaction

over the free resources provided I am confident the issue could have been resolved

with a phone conversation which Mr. [redacted] was encouraged to have with any

member of our team here in Germantown WI.

So far in 2014 our experience with Mr. [redacted] has

continued with the same pattern as above.

I understand the above dissertation may be a bit long, but

it is important to understand the great lengths we have gone to satisfy Mr.

[redacted]. Also it is important to mention that the DVDs, USB drive,

newsletters, web-based tv programming, recorded webinars were made available at

no cost or obligation to Mr. [redacted].

We all appreciate this opportunity to provide a response to

the claim. While a resolution to any claim is preferred I am at a loss of what

to do about pleasing Mr. [redacted]. We do not have any more free information to

provide and Mr. [redacted] refuses to return our call or visit our Academy to

discuss the matter.

If you have questions comments please feel welcome to

contact us by phone, email or simply stop in at our Academy.

Thank you,

Online Trading Academy has provided the education I needed to become a consistently successful trader.
