My husband has a solo law practice which I help him with in hiring, marketing and other type mattersIt is not like me or my husband to submit a complaintThat is how important this is to us to share our experience with other Lawyers before they spend their hard earned money In an attempt to persuade us to use their online marketing service, Law Firm Sites Incsent us a sample of how they would design a website for my husband's solo law practiceThey then set up an appointment to talk over the details of their services We were hugely disappointed in the choices they made in the design they put together for usNaturally, we assumed they would want to put their best work forward so we would choose themInstead they put small white print on a blue background with white pillars and other distractions in the background making it hard to focus on the print Other choices like gray on gray and a huge imposing picture of my husband on one side of the page with tiny print on the other side of the page, made us question the experience level of the person who set up the page Also, if this wasn't so important it would be humorous, if you page down instead of scroll down to the second page, all you see is part of a sentence on the right side of the page and the top of my husband's bald head on the other sideWe almost canceled the call with them but decided this might just be a new person without much experience and if the company is solid maybe if we explained our concerns they would put us with a more experienced personSo we gave them the benefit of the doubt and kept the appointmentWhen the appointment time came, Hayden, the person who initially contacted us did not call usSo we called them thinking maybe we misunderstoodThe woman who answered the phone said Hayden was out to lunchMy husband explained we had an appointment with HaydenSo she put Dan, the owner of the company on the phoneDan came on the line and said that Hayden did not call us back because he was on another phone call My husband told him that he had an appointment with us and that the front office told us he was out to lunchDan said he's back from lunch now and is on the other line(It was 11:30) We proceeded with questions and finally came to our concerns about choices made for the website set up Dan insisted he did not see what we were seeingWhen I finally said, page down to page two, what do you see? Do you see only the top of my husband's bald head? Dan's reply was " yes I see that but most people scroll down they do not use page down." We gave him every opportunity to take responsibility and redeem himself and his companyInstead of coming up with better solutions and offering better service, he said we cannot work together and he actually hung up on us Naturally we were grateful to see how they would handle poor quality work before we gave them my $Buyer beware

I am rejecting this response because: The I1nvestigative Tab was not done as Only Websites Claims in their most recent response; please see my website at *** The "Investigations" Tab is not on the website. I was charged for this work. Also, the Tabs titled Media and Holsters do not load correctly. In addition to these issues, I was not sent my "Investigation" Files which I am attempting to Upload onto the site. Here's what I am requesting at this point:1. A refund of $for work not completed - No "Investigative" Tab as they claim.2. The balance of my yearly contract refunded out through November3. Compensation for my time spent going back and forth with MrT*** which equates to $1050; Formula = $150/hour X hours.4. All Files sent to me at ***

This client requires us to both do the work and receive his money backWe agreed to update one page of his site for $but when we completed that he demanded we rebuild his siteIt was never agreed to nor paid forHe only paid us $to create a new pageWhen we completed the work and told
him that we would not do the extra work he started threats and being extremely unprofessionalHe said that the State Department is going to force us to make the changes he demandsHe also said he will get the IRS involved over a one page website update.The work has been doneIt is completedWe have given him all of his site files on July and again yesterdayHere is some of the responses we got from the client when we tried to resolve the issue:

My next step is to go to the State Department and they will force you to comply with this DIRECTED CHANGE, then I'll wait until they drag you through the financial pit. Terrible company to work withBuyer bewareUp until you sign the contract, they are extremely responsive over email and by phoneAs soon as you sign the contract and send your money, you are shuttled to someone that will build your site, but you have to login through their portal in order to see the progress and make any kind of commentary on it
It took them months to build my siteThis was primarily due to the requirement to login to their portal in order to see progress or make any kind of commentary, even after I had requested for them to contact me via email since I didn't have time to login to their portal to respond to issues
I transferred my site to my current host (as I have other sites hosted there and wanted to keep everything together), and then emailed them to get some of the vector files off of the siteThey told me, in no uncertain terms, that I am no longer their client and that I'd have to talk to my new hostI called them to discuss and got shuttled to voicemail and had my phone number left a few timesThey were very obviously avoiding meMrTodd, the owner, was "away at lunch", but when I asked to be placed in his voicemail, my phone got disconnectedI called to talk to my site builder, the receptionist left me on hold, came back and asked what company I was working for, and then said "she's not available"I was told to email, which I had done weeks before, and never heard a response
Final response, "you are no longer a client." Extremely poor customer service
