Dear Mr***,
This letter is response to your complaint to the Revdex.com Northwest dated February 9, We understand your concerns regarding the credit bureau reporting on
your auto loanOnPoint Community Credit Union values your feedback, and continues to strive to address your concerns
OnPoint strives to treat all of our members with dignity and respectWe have reviewed our previous communications with you and a very detailed and professional email was sent to you on July 2, addressing your concerns with how your auto loan was being reported to the credit reporting agencies
A Chapter bankruptcy was filed by you on October 8, As stated in the bankruptcy documents, your intention was to reaffirm the auto loan secured by the Ford RangerOn October 15, 2009, we mailed a letter to your attorney along with a reaffirmation agreement asking for your attorney to have you sign the agreement and return it to our officeOur records indicate the signed reaffirmation agreement was not received back from your attorney which means the auto loan could not be reflected as a reaffirmed loan even though your intention was to reaffirmThe Chapter bankruptcy discharged January 14,
On October 15, 2009, we also sent a letter to youWithin the letter there is a section addressing automatic transfers explaining you must arrange to discontinue automatic transfers if you do not intend to honor your obligations to the Credit UnionWe did not receive a request to discontinue the automatic transfer and voluntary payments continued until the auto loan was paid off April 26, and your auto loan was never charged off
We are required to accurately report to the credit reporting agenciesSince this loan was included in the bankruptcy and was not officially reaffirmed due to OnPoint not receiving a signed reaffirmation agreement, we reported the auto loan as “Account included in Bankruptcy” and “Bankruptcy Chapter 7, Bankruptcy Discharged.” Due to the requirement to report the bankruptcy information, we were not able to report payment history to the credit reporting agencies, and cannot update your credit report to reflect the payments
Thank you for giving us an opportunity to address your concerns and please contact me at the number listed below if you have any questions
Regards,
Joe V***

I am rejecting this response because:First of all, the only reason I am rejecting this response is because the problem has not been completely resolved yet. I am happy that OnPoint has finally stepped up to the plate to get some action on this matter but as of this writing, the license plates have not been received yet.It is true that the extended permit has been received in yesterdays mail and I do appreciate that. But I will hold my complaint on file and open until the license plates are received.
Sincerely,
[redacted]
