Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
[I am following up with the response the company offered as it is not factual. The HVAC crew was contracted by *** *** to add leads and to move existing runs. There was no other work being performed on my basement that day besides Onsight. I emphasis prior to Onsight the door had zero damageWhen Onsight employees finished the work the soffit and basement door were damaged.I did not say “heavy fat guy” when explaining the soffit issue This is a deliberate lie about a conversation. I explained there were others using this door prior to Onsight and there has been zero issues with the door sticking or dragging I emphasis that after Onsight left (no one else worked on the basement that day) the door was bent and damaged.Upon showing up at my home there was no time to make a statement of a new door. Mr*** immediately became defensive when I explained that the door was bent and damaged. Mr*** immediately stated “He is just looking for a new door” and became combative. As his voice continued to raise and he spoke negatively about the construction of my home I asked Mr*** to leave my property as I was astonished to be yelled at by an owner of a company. His employee even stated “I took a step back when he started shouting.” The company’s response is a total fabrication of how events unfolded.Regards,
*** ***]

installing a run, one in the open room on ladder installing a run and one in the back room installing a run. The worker on the ladder working in the soffit area was installing the run and the opposite end of the soffit fell, not the end he was working on. Mr. [redacted] was called and came to the job to see the end hanging down. Mr. [redacted] started to hang the end back up and the whole soffit fell down. Our worker did not pull it down at all. None of our employees stated that to M, [redacted] or Mr. [redacted], The basement door was already dragging and had to lift up on the door to open. I am not sure where the kicking the door came from? Our employees called me directly about the soffit and we have all the pictures as to what part came down. Mr. [redacted] called our office and I spoke to him, explained to him would tell the owners and have them address the issues with the employees. I told him would call him back the next day. called him the next day and explained to him that our employees stated they did not kick the door and the soffit had fallen on the opposite end. He immediately stated that the "heavy fat guy went to fall off the ladder and pulled the soffit down" told him no that the opposite end fell when he was running line through it and that the whole thing fell when Mr. [redacted] got back to the house. As far as the door, assured him our employees would not kick the door but did have trouble opening and closing due to dragging. He immediately stated that his kids go in and out that door every day and never have trouble, Plus all the other workers there coming in and out never had any problems until our employees were there. Several other companies working at the same time could have placed added stress on the door dragging. I did talk to him stating that the owner was out of town and would talk to him again about the door and soffit. Mr [redacted] called back and we scheduled a time for the employees and the owner to go meet with him to make sure everyone was in agreement. Our owner Dave Disporett wanted to make sure the customer was happy.Upon showing up at the home Mr. [redacted] stated that he wanted a new door and would not listen to anything that was being said and looked at Mr. [redacted] and told him to leave his property. Mr. [redacted] and employees left the property at his request. We pride ourselves in quality service and at no time felt that we could not come to an agreement with all parties present. In the matter of this we feel that we would not be responsible for the door or the soffit due to our employees not damaging either one. We would have been willing to compromise and give the customer a discount of $200.00 for the door repair, even though we are not sure how the door was damaged.
